(Lia's POV)
(A/N: Heyo! I'm alive! So....here! Have a chapter of this book!
*throws the chapter at you*)
I smirked as I gently stroked Chronic's hair. He was out cold after I delivered a sharp blow to his head, as he tried to escape earlier.
Everything, and I mean everything was going according to plan.
Though I wouldn't physically know for a bit longer, Pali should've taken Sarah to the hospital by now. All I needed was that phone call, and I was good to go.
My plan was indeed a great one. There are a free flaws...but most of them are easy to overcome. I would love to explain it all in detail, but I guess it'd be better to let it play out.
I then gently rolled off of Chronic, and I was soon lying next to him. I then gently nudged him, and followed it with a kiss.
He groaned, and started to stir, just as I had predicted. "Urgh..."
I grinned. "Did you sleep well?"
He opened his eyes and growled as soon as he saw me. "Why haven't you left yet? Why am I not tied up or anything? ...Lia, you're actually very odd..."
I signed as I ruffled his hair. For essentially being a Time God, be doesn't use his powers to their full potential...and I don't know why. However, I do plan for that to change once this damned prophecy is fulfilled. I hate the fact that this whole thing is taking so long...I just want it to wrap up, and wrap up soon. "Indeed...it is. But, I do have my reasons, Chronic."
He growled, and I could practically see the anger, hatred, and disgust in his eyes. "What the hell do you want."
I smiled as the phone began to ring. "Why don't you go and answer that, Chronic?"
He gave me an annoyed look as he answered his phone. "...hello?"
A few seconds passed, and he clenched his right fist. "...she is okay, right?" he asked in a tone that was clearly one of concern.
A few minutes passed with Chronic talking on the phone and such, and he finally hung up. "...I'm going out. You can't st-"
I cut him off. "Actually, I'm not going to stop you. I'm coming with you."
He slightly growled, but it quickly turned into a sigh. "You know what? Fine. I probably can't say no anyways," he said as he got up.
I chuckled as I got up as well. "You're 110% right, Chronic. Technically, as we are speaking, you're under my complete and utter control."
He then cursed under his breath. "You used my negative emotions that I had when I saw you were still here to put me under a Dark Control, didn't you."
I smirked. "Indeed. Indeed I did."
He rolled his eyes in an annoyed manner. "...anyways, let's go. I want to go and see Sarah."
I grabbed his arm. "Of course. Let's go." I then used Phantom Force to teleport the both of us to the hospital Sarah as at, the one in Snowpoint, without Chronic even telling me where to go.
When we appeared in the hospital, Chronic gave me a look, clearly suspicious. "I never told you where to go. How did you know to come here...?"
I slightly smirked. "Let's just say I have my ways."
Chronic only sighed inn response, and then walked over to a young, pink-haired female, who I knew to be Pali.
I started to weigh my options a bit. I could just let Chronic be, or I could use the fact that he was under my Dark Control, and have him mess around with Pali.
I thought about that for a moment, and then another idea came to mind.
I walked over to the reception desk. "U-um, hi... I'm here to see Sarah... Sarah Stone. I-I'm a close friend of hers..."
The lady behind the desk typed a few things into her computer before looking up at me. "Alright. I'll need your name, just with the middle initial, age, and DOB."
I nodded, continuing to play my innocent role. "M-my name is Olivia Y. Dessor. I'm 20 years old, and my birthday is August 27th, 1995."
The lady nodded and typed my information into the computer, and then handed me a wristaband that had my information printed on it. "Alright. Keep this on at all times. I'll have to escort you to her room."
I shyly nodded, while inside, I was already having a celebration.
When I walked into her room, she was resting, and all the monitors and such were hooked up to her...including one I didn't recognize. After studying it for a minute, I determined that it measured the amount of Space-Distortion she had, or something like that. Totally made sense, as she was hit full-on by a Spatial Rend. After looking at it a bit closer, and using my knowledge of the Space Continuum, she was actually pretty lucky to be alive. the Space-Distortion level she currently had was near fatal, and if everything went right, that should dip down quite a bit in the next hour or so.
I then went over to her, and nudged her, and she let out a groan. "Ugh...five more minutes, Chronic..."
I grinned. "Chronic? I'm sorry. I'm not Chronic."
Less than a second passed before she sat up and looked at me. "L-Lia! How did you get in here? How did you know I was even here?"
I grinned. "Quite simple, Sarah. I used your little boy-toy of a Time God."
