Aiko's POV

"I've just about enough of you boy. Now you have two options, because I feel like being kind. Either run while you still have the chance, or say your last words."

"No way! I am not leaving...until Aria is back!"

"Haha! You really think you can get her back? Go ahead and try Yuki." I laughed.

Suddenly, there was a flash of light consign from his deck. The next thing I knew I couldn't see, but once my eyes readjusted, I saw them.

Duel spirits.

"So, you have spirits do you?" I inquired. "Quite interesting, that someone of the likes of you has such a power."

"You'd be surprised." He puffed.

"Well it's not that impressive. After all you're not the only one."

Darkness radiated from my deck, and spilled out onto the floor. The darkness rose and formed silhouettes, only to clear to reveal my duelling spirits.

"I present to you, my Duel Spirits. Pyromaniac, Killer...and Lucifer."

"Never seen Lucifer before."

"Of course you haven't. Aria never uses it because it's my soul card. My soul is fused with it. If she plays it in battle, high chances are of me taking her over." I told him. "But we don't need to worry about that right now. You really think your spirits can defeat mine?"

"I don't care what I have to do! I will save Aria!"

He looked around at his spirits and they all nodded.

"I see you're a Elemental Hero Duelist. Impressive that a scrawny child like you had such a deck." I taunted again. "No matter. It's no match for my Void monsters."

In one go all his monsters went charging for mine. Although he had a whole army, my 3 were fending them all off with ease.

"You see that? You can't beat my monsters! Even these 3 are more powerful than all yours combined."

"Seems like I'm missing someone..." He choked.

Suddenly another spirit appeared. Their aura was not lift nor dark. I recognised it immediately. The white and purple split coloured hair. The mis-matched eyes. The large dark bat-like wings.

It was Yubel.

"No way. You must be joking." I sneered. "How did a goody goody shrimp like you get a hold of Yubel? Not only that, she's willing to work with you? What kind dirt must you have on her? Or is she using you?"

"I simply wish to help Jaden with whatever task he gives me." She glared. "He helped me see the path of light, even after I pulled him into the shadows."

"I can't believe you. Yubel, the she demon, on of the most feared spirits in the whole world...gone good?" I spat. "You disgust me."

"As you do me. Now remove yourself from her body at once!"

"Hmf. You shouldn't have summoned her Jaden." I snickered. "Because now...I'm making this a shadow game!"

Darkness got pulled in from all around. The world around us seemed to rip apart revealing a spacey void background.

"Now then... Let's have a little fun."

I loaded up my duel disk, and so did he. He was such an idiot.

He won't know what hit him when his soul gets trapped forever.

'Aiko stop this! He didn't do anything wrong!'

He challenged me. That's enough.

"You can go first, after all you won't survive long no matter what."

He played Avian first, predictable of course. He then laid down 2 cards. I could tell one was a spell and the other was a trap.

"Okay, I play this card face down, and I will summon my Evil Doll." I announced, placing the cards down. "Oh and one little thing not even Aria knew about Evil Doll. She can destroy any card in the field in exchange for her own life. So I'll crush your Avian into pieces."

Both monsters went up in fragments, and we bring lost LP according to our monsters attack. I lost 1000, he lost 1200. (Sorry if some atk/def points are all over the place I can't remember them every well.)

It was Jaden's turn again and he placed down yet another weak monster. I though this was going to be boring and an easy win...but I guess this was the first time I was proven wrong.

As the duel got further in things became more difficult. He had a way of repealing everything I threw at him. Sometimes even reflecting it back onto me. But I could tell he was holding back.

"Come on Jaden. You can do better than that." I smirked. "Gone on and hit me with your best shot. Or are you too scared that you'll send Aria away too?"

Jaden was in a horrible state. He had fallen to his knees at leat 7 times now. All his scars and bruises were showing again and his wounds opening. He was barley standing as it was. He had stopped most talking as he simply didn't have the strength or energy for it.

The sight made me smile. I loved seeing people wince in pain and holler in agony. This was like Christmas. As I stared at his slow purplish form I couldn't help but think about how much more pain I could put him through.

'Don't you dare!'

A sudden pain shot through my head. I held it.

What's going on? What the hell are you doing?

"Jaden don't worry about me!" A voice that wasn't mine, echoed from my mouth. "If you defeat her, I won't get hurt! She'll be expelled from the body, not me!"

"Aria?" He coughed.

Damn it. She's more powerful than I thought.

'You're damn right I am.'

"Haha! I can't believe you fell for that!"

Play it cool.

"No... That was Aria... I know it! I can't mistake that voice for anyone else!"

"Well you just did."

'Let me out!'

No! Go back to your minds void! Or do you want him to suffer more?!?

'Do what you wish to me! Just don't drag him into this!'

Too late.

It was Jaden's go, and as soon as he was done with his turn, he would be dead and gone. I had the perfect line up. Lucifer in my hand and 2 monsters out to sacrifice. Plus my spell card 'call of the damned' which allows me to summon any hell card, no matter what type of monster or level. Just cost me an extra 500 LP per monster sacrificed I needed, which were 2. I had 3200, plenty.

Just as I started to smile, it dropped as I saw Jaden's face. He was smiling. Smirking.

"Time to finish this!"

He sacrificed every monster he had out. Berstinatrix, Sparkman, clayman and bubbleman. He sent them all away...and summoned Yubel.

With one swift movement she sliced up all my monsters, as that was one do her abilities. The other...was that she was immune to trap, spell and magic cards from the opposing team. I couldn't touch her.

"No! Yubel you traitor!" I screamed.

"Now Yubel! Get Aria back!"

She swooped toward me and in one slash...she had completely destroyed the remainder of my life points and ripped my soul out. The playing field faded away along with the darkness.

With my soul ripped out, Aria could return to the surface of her mind, while I was forced to drift forever within the shadow realm.

Damn it...I will find a way out... One day I will get revenge.
