Aria's POV

After all this time, I had been just shoving Jaden to the side. As if he was just another person who I knew. But he was more than that. I didn't just know him. I didn't just like him as a friend. That emotion I had been feeling ever since that morning/night he looked after me, was one of something more than I thought I was capable of. Love. Although I wasn't ready to admit it, it think Jaden knew.

We continued to watch student flow in. We started hearing voices in the hallways along with walking steps. The peace and quiet was nice while it lasted.

"What should we do now?" Jaden asked.

"Well, I think it would be best if we waited for that nurse lady to come back. So then she knows if we've left for class."

"Or we can leave her a note."

"But she may say we aren't in a good enough condition to go back. I mean by the looks of you, you sure aren't."

"I'm fine." He smiled. I knew he was lying.

"Don't lie to me. You're bandage half way to oblivion, and there are still some bruises and cuts visible." I stated. "There's no way you can hide that pain all day, let alone all week."

"I can still walk!"

"More like limp while hugging the walls. You can't just recover completely over night."

"You did."

"That's because being possessed and being physically injured are two completely different things."

"Guess you're right there. Looks like we're waiting for the nurse."

It had just tuned 9am when the nurse returned. We asked her if it was okay for us to go, and she said yes as long as Jaden used crutches. He tried protesting but I simply shoved them into his arms and went outside to wait for him.

The doors slid open and Jaden hobbled out.

"Why do I have to use these things?" He groaned, as we started walking.

"Because if you didn't, either you would be hugging the walls to stay up or I'd be luging your butt everywhere."

"Is that so? Maybe I'll ditch these then."

"On second thoughts I may just let you crawl across the floor."

We both laughed and carried on walking until we got to our first lesson. When we got to the door we took a deep breath. We were 10 minutes late due to our slow walking because of yesterday, and we knew people would look at us as if we murdered someone.

I was on the worse side as a lot of obelisks saw what happened yesterday. I highly doubt they would be comfortable with me in there. Jaden must have noticed my worry.

"Hey, no worries." He smiled. "After all, you're you again. I know you won't do anything bad."

"Thanks Jaden."

We stepped closer to the door, making it automatically slide open. Everything went silent and all heads turned to us. The first thing I noticed was Alexis and Chaz. Chaz was almost as bad as Jaden, and Alexis had a few bandages too.

Did I- I mean she, hurt Alexis too? Oh no.

"Why is she doing here?" One obelisk spat.

"Yeah! Did you not see what happened yesterday? What isn't she expelled?" Another yelled.

"She's a danger to everyone here!" A Ra yellow called.
