Aria's POV
After dinner, I made my way back to my room, before Jaden could drag me back into his. I was about to get changed into my PJs, when I felt something in my pocket. I took it out to see it was the letter about the trip to Kiba-Corp.
That's right. I need to sign it if I wanna go...she said I could bring a friend...I wonder.
As of right on que, Jaden just waltzed into my room.
"Excuse me, but don't you knock? I could have been changing." I joked.
"Well then I wish I had come later." He replied with a grin.
"Whatever." I shrugged, my face tinting pink.
He took notice of the paper in my hand.
"What you got there?" He asked, leaning over my shoulder while sneakily wrapping his arms around my waist.
"It's a trip letter to Kiba-Corp. I still need to fill it out if I wanna go."
"That sounds so cool! That's in Domino City. All the best duellists live around there. Even Yugi Motou, the King of Games."
"You seem to know a lot."
"Duelling is my life, why wouldn't I know?"
"Hehe. Well I can bring a friend ya know..."
"Looks like I can't go then."
"Why not?" I asked, almost sounding disappointed.
"Because it's clear we are more than just friends."
My face flushed red. How can he say it so natural like that?!?
"Oh well. I guess I'll just ask Alexis then."
"Heyyy, I still wanna go."
We both laughed.
"Fine. Let's fill this out together then."
After filling everything out and signing it, we sealed it in an envelope I found and laid it on the desk. Jaden looked around my room, seeing just how much work I did to it.
"It's like a totally different room now." He stated. "It looks amazing."
"Thanks. It took me an entire day to do. I had to throw a lot of stuff out...including most my clothes. But I put them all in a bag so I can make more stuff."
I pointed to the desk to show him what u had already made. He was amazed that I was so good at so many things. Duelling, DIY, cooking and tailoring.
"Man. Did I get lucky or what." He smirked.
"Excuse me?" I replied jokingly.
"Just saying that I must have amazing luck to have you as my girlfriend."
I went red again.
"G-g-girlfriend?"
"Yup. You're so cute when your embarrassed." He teased, enveloping me in a hug.
"Stop making fun of me." I said quietly, hugging back.
"I'm sorry. But you're cute anyways."
I stayed silent, Jaden still with his arms around my waist.
How can he be so natural calling me his...g..girlfriend? I don't get it at all. Is it just his hyper attitude? If that's the case then opposites attract is the truest thing I've ever heard. After all, I'm nothing like Jaden. He's hyper and social, I'm withdrawn and calm...or at least used to be calm. Either way, I just don't get how he could love someone like me...
