The group of six reached Professor Boardman's office no problem. For a man who spent his life researching the most dangerous dictator in all of history, he sure lived quite openly. Savage might not have come to power yet- but he was still dangerous and out there somewhere.

As Meg listened to Kendra and Carter talk about Savage with Rip- she's learned that he can sense the two of them if they're near. That makes this mission much more dangerous for them. Meg hoped that whatever Rip brought her here for, it's for something that will help them not die.

"Meg, are you okay?" Ray sensed Margaret's uncertainty. She glanced up at him, wiping the deep in thought look off her face.

"Fine. Just... Thinking." Meg brushed it off, giving him a small grin.

Her eyes quickly fell on a man walking into the office, looking at the team like they were nuts. He appeared to be in his fifties, or even early sixties.

Meg looked from him, to Kendra and Carter- her eyes widening. This man- Professor Boardman no doubt- had many similarities with the Hawk team. For example, there was the arch of Kendra's nose, and the same almond shape of Carter's eyes. Even the shape of the jaw and broadness of shoulders. Many of his features matched Kendra and Carter's.

"Professor Boardman? Can we talk to you for a second?" Rip asked in a kind voice. The Professor glanced between Carter and Kendra, a look of shock embedded in his eyes. He brushed it off. He knew them. Meg could see it.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Boardman asked quickly, adjusting his glasses.

"We came to talk to you about a man you have been studying." Said Kendra, her tone uncertain.

"Vandal Savage?" Carter clarified. Boardman sat down at his desk, looking at all of them like they were crazy.

"Why would I give my life's work to some... Strangers?" His eyes fell on Kendra and Carter briefly, as if he couldn't believe his eyes.

Looking around the room, Margaret fixed her glance on some pictures around the room, noticing a particular one on a table behind his desk.

It was the Professor- or rather a younger version of him. The similarities that he shared with Kendra and Carter stood out more, not faded with age. He had Carter's smile, and Kendra's cheekbones.

"We're not all strangers." Meg blurted out suddenly, "Carter and Kendra- you're their son."

Everyone turned to Meg, shooting her a look that said "you're a crazy psycho". Professor Boardman smiled.

"How did you know?" The professor asked her.

"There's a photo behind you- of a much younger you. You share a mix of the same physical features of Kendra and Carter- dominant features. Makes sense since they reincarnate. I just did the math."

"You're very good at math, then." Ray observed. Meg scratched the back of her head, wondering if she should have said that. Everyone might think she was some sort of sociopathic freak. All she did was notice detail, and for her job, she must notice detail.

"Back to the point." Martin said gently, turning to the fellow professor, "Do you have any research that may help us find Vandal Savage?"

Professor Boardman got up, filing through some papers on his desk.

"I've been studying Vandal Savage my whole life. With the help of.. my.. my parents, tracking his movements haven't been the hardest thing in the world." He explained, grabbing a notebook from a locked desk drawer.

"So this will help us find him?" Ray clarified, staring at the worn leather-bound book.

"Yes. May I ask what you're planning on doing to Mr. Savage?" Boardman asked, a little hesitant to hand the notebook of his life's work over to them. Meg doesn't blame him. She would be concerned about who her life's work was going to as well.
