Aki's P.O.V.

I woke up with a yawn and a stretch, basking in the morning sun.

'Damn, fell asleep watching Naru-

WHOA, what--?!'

I was lying on my futon, even though I sure as hell don't remember moving there at all.

In fact, the last thing I remember was Naruto sprawled on the floor...

'Wait, I swore I saw a figure...
Yeah,
I remember,
they seemed to blend perfectly with the midnight blue of the clear night sky...

Ah well, who cares...
Must've been Kakashi moving me inside...
...'

I rubbed my eyes to try and bring some sense of awareness back to my groggy mind.

'Hm... I can't feel any orange...'

Sure enough, both orange and dark blue were nowhere to be seen or sensed in our shared room.

Kakashi, predetermining my question as soon as I walked into the dining area, quickly supplied an answer:
"They went to train."

"My breakfast went to train?" I said sarcastically.

He rolled his eye, "you and I both know what you were gonna ask."

"Yeah, 'where's my breakfast?'" I said sarcastically again.

He rolled his eye once more and I resisted saying:
'keep rolling your eye, maybe you'll find a brain back there.'
But we all know I wouldn't really mean it, Kaka-san's too lovable to be so mean to!~

I reached my arms over my head and stretched lazily.

"So if blue and orange went to train, where's pink and funny-hat?"
I mumbled.
Suppressing a shiver, I added:
"And Tsunami-San..."

Kaka-San sweatdropped, "what's with the nicknames?
And 'funny-hat'?
Really?"

I shrugged, "he doesn't have a colour..."

Stoking my chin like I had a beard, my eyes narrowed in thought,
"Hmm,
I change my mind.
He can't be 'funny-hat'-- that's Hokage-sama...
He'll just have to be Tazu-chan for now..."

Kaka-San didn't even bother to sigh,
"Sakura and Tazuna are at the bridge, and Tsunami-San went shopping for some things."

"Why didn't you wake me up to send me with Sakura to guard Tazuna?" I questioned.

"You didn't say whether you were done with your 'special training' yet.
If you are, you can head to the bridge, although it's highly unlikely anything will happen," he muttered.

"Well ... I've almost got the technique down, and I've learnt more than enough of it to help me with the fight..."
I began to gush about my newfound ability to Kakashi, dying in anticipation to use it to kick a certain someone's ass,
"It's mega cool Kaka-San! I can literally attack at the speed of light! And then--
...
...
What the hell are you doing?"

I grimaced as I watched him lower his torso to the ground with the support of a single finger, his other arm behind his back.

"Press ups," he said simply.

"I can see that," I retorted,
"I meant 'why'."

"I need to get my strength back," he huffed.
