A.N:// I'm not even sure I can call this 'fluffy' anymore after this chapter o///////o
You've been warned...Aki's P.O.V.
The person's breath tickled my ear as he spoke, sending a shiver down my spine.
"Uh... Thanks," I said distractedly.
Then the person buried his nose into my neck and took a long sniff.
I didn't even question it, too absorbed with the sarcophagus.
"I knew it...
Kuso...
You're under the effects of a gen jutsu, I can smell it."Then the person tightened his grip, moving his hands into a release sign.
Suddenly, the world burst into colour, a haze leaving my mind.
I no longer felt the strong desire to go towards the sarcophagus.
I gasped heavily, falling into the person behind me.'Wait... 'Person behind me'??'
I thrust my arms into the air, sliding from his grip and whirling to face him, kunai drawn.
A small dog yipped at me, growling at the threat I posed his master.
My eyes widened and I smiled,
"Kiba? What're you doing here?"He gave me a wide grin, showing his canines,
"I was stuck in some sort of maze.
Then I caught your scent and followed it here...
You were in a trance and nearly walked into a trap, so I pulled you away."I placed my hand on my chin, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Why do you think that sarcophagus had a gen protection jutsu on it?"Kiba scratched his head,
"No idea!
But something smells off in here..."I raised a brow,
"Off?"He averted his eyes, his face confused,
"Well... That sarcophagus kinda smells... Like you."I tilted my head,
"Huh? What's my 'scent' then?"Kiba blushed,
"Um... N-no offence, but you kinda smell like lilies..."I blinked a few times in shock, then laughed lightly.
'Oh, Mother... Your kimono is making me smell like you.'Kiba gave me a confused stare as I chuckled to myself.
"That might be my kimono, it belonged to my mother," I said softly.
Kiba tilted his head,
"Uh... No, it isn't the kimono... I mean, the kimono smells like lilies, but so do you."I blinked,
"That's... Weird.
Anyway, I think that sarcophagus is what we're looking for..."
I started heading towards it once more, treading carefully."Watch out for traps," Kiba yelled.
I rolled my eyes,
"Obviously, how dumb do you think I---AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"I was swallowed by blackness as I dropped down through a trap door, the panel sliding shut behind me.
Air whooshed around my ears as my yell echoed off the walls, then I landed on a softer surface than I expected.
