Olivia couldn't sleep.
In their new treehouse,everyone else seemed asleep.
Even Sammy.
He was normally plagued by nightmares of Kloe,but tonight he seemed alright for the moment.
She sort of felt like going outside,shifting,maybe going for a run in the forest.Insta-shifting was cool.
But she didn't want to.
Olivia's feet were cold.
Not cold enough to force-shift,but uncomfortable.She shivered.
There was a shuffling noise,and Amber turned on her bed to look at Olivia with one eye open.
"Can't sleep?"Amber murmured,rubbing her eyes.
"Not tonight."Olivia replied
"Why is that?"Amber opened her other eye.
"Well,for a start,my feet are cold."
"I can do something for that."
"What?"
Amber gave Olivia a little grin and shifted,bounding off of her bed onto Olivia's.
"Don't you da-"
Too late.
Amher flopped onto Olivia's feet and gave her a wolfy grin.
"Get off!"Olivia complained.
Amber huffed at her.
Actually,she was warming up Olivia's feet.
"Fine."Olivia grumbled."Just for tonight."
