Chapter 25- a familiar face

They walked back down the road, Dan looking a lot healthier already, he showered and got dressed. He genuinely wanted to look good for Phil.
Dan didn't speak on the walk back.
Chris couldn't tell if he was nervous of excited. Or maybe both?
They arrived at the house. The lights were off, as per usual.

Chris began to unlock the door, and straight away it smelt like BO.

Chris walked over to Phil, nudging him a bit, to get his attention.
"Hey Phil? Got a visitor" Chris spoke.
Phil sat up from the sofa and wiped his eyes.
He turned to face Dan. Who was looking down at the floor nervously.
"We'll leave you to it" PJ spoke before dragging Chris upstairs behind him.

"Uh. Look Phil. I don't know how I can apologise. I just- I really lo--" Dan stopped when Phil stood up.
Phil ran over to Dan, Dan awaited a punch in the face. But, Phil just hugged Dan.
