Chapter 14

I walked down to the harbor and stood there as I shivered, the wind is colder here than in the city. As Queen finished parking his huge ass bike, we walked to the dock. There was a lot of cargo left here and I know they are hiding. They know it's me, but they don't know who Queen is.

"Guys come out! He's friendly." I yelled

After a few seconds, they slowly climb out one by one, their eyes glowed in the dark just like mine. They eyed Oliver wearily and when they landed their eyes on me, damn, they look like puppies looking at bones. I'm the bone in case you haven't notice.

"Fang!!!" they all screamed as they lunged at me

I dodged skillfully around all of them as they ended up in a pile behind me. I walked towards the dark-haired professor who had a cup of coffee in his hands, he handed me a small rectangle container, about the size of my palm. I looked at him confused, this won't even last for 10 days.

"Well, that is worth a year." He answered my unasked question, I blinked at him in horror as he gave me a smug smile

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I shrieked "A full year?!"

"I was able to make one pill worth 1 month, it actually worked." I kept quiet as I was still trying to digest all the information

"So just eat one at every start of the month and you will be fine." I nodded still a bit dumbfound

"Thanks." I smiled waving the container a bit

"You know you should go home, I talked to Snake a few days ago, he is a mess, well...all of them are." He said with a frown

I looked down, feeling the weight return onto my shoulders, crushing me. I shook my head and looked back up, staring straight into his eyes. Now is not the time, I'm not ready to face Snake. He didn't want me in the first place, why would he want me back now?

"I'm not ready yet, not now," I told him sadly, the thought of Snake being alone made me want to cry

If that Kate girl didn't come in, none of this wouldn't happen, I need to be away from them, I needed space. I know that I had to go back sooner or later but just not now, I'm not ready to face them yet, no matter how much I missed them.

"And just so you know, I talked to Snake yesterday and I kind of accidently said that you are in Starling city and I was coming to see you."

"WHAT?!" I screamed and lunged at him with anger, he dodged me, but I was able to grab his shirt's collar

"Why?! Are you trying to make my life worse than it is?!" I yelled while shaking him back and forth

Don't get me wrong, I love Ray as a brother, but sometimes he would do things that would piss me off. I continue to shake him back and forth until I was tired, he looked like he was going to puke but he deserved it.

"It was a misunderstanding, and they need you Fang. I know you are still in pain, but you can't push them away forever. It's been what 5 months? Almost half a year. They are worried sick!"

"I know that I have to go back soon but I need to think about everything, my emotions are like sand storms they come and go." I muttered giving up and sat down on the floor

"Mind I ask what is going on?" Oliver stated as he crouched down next to me, I forgot he was here

"Something went wrong in the organization nothing big, but I left because of my- "I was cut off by Ray

"Her lover and she needed some space and left, she has been here for 5 months and I 'accidentally' told her lover that she is here, and they are coming to find you, actually they should be here tomorrow morning," I growled under my breath at his bluntness
