Bell's POV

I stood at the end of our large formal dining room table as everyone began to take their seats.

I knew for a fact that weeks ago my cousins daughter found her mate. It not only confused and scared her she had tried to push her feeling for him away.

Unfortunately I New her mother and I were to blame for that.

You see, all year Tiff and I had gushed over how cute it would be if my Madeleine and Zeke Parker were mates, the daydream clouded hopes had filled Madeleine's head as well and she began to grow false feelings for someone she didn't even know. Then when he and his mother finally arrived and she met him, she claimed to have fallen in love with him.

I sat Madeleine down again and explained how our mates find us and how she-wolves shouldn't go out with just anybody because when we find our mates they might not like it. But my daughter is as stubborn a child as I've ever seen and she continued to pursue the boy.

Madeleine took her seat next to her brother and she stared obsessively at Zeke as he took his seat, I noticed his emotions seemed to be lifted since first arriving tonight. Then Delilah walked in smiling from ear to ear.

I had strategically placed them right next to eachother.

Zeke got up and pulled Delilah's chair out for her like a gentleman, and I noticed the adoring looks they gave each other. I could feel their inner wolves clawing to be together and I knew for sure they were mates, and they both seemed comfortable around each other now.

Derek teased Zeke about the chair situation and Delilah shot him a death glare, apparently Derek either suspects the two are mates or he flat out knows.

I tried to hide my own giddy smile as I watched his left hand and her right hand disappear under the table, I instantly felt both of their emotions spike as their skin touched and I knew they were holding hands.

'May I ask what's making my wife smile so brightly?' Deacon thought.

I looked at him and sent him my own silent response. 'Young love.'

I watched as my clueless husband began to look around.

'Delilah and Zeke.' I thought.

Then his eyes focused on the two teens. And the rush Of love I felt from them was overshadowed by my husbands growing anger.

'This kid is playing both Madeleine and Delilah!' He shouted in my head.

I put my hand on his leg to calm him down. 'Baby, he's Delilah's mate' anyone who took the time to watch them could see how much they belonged together. The way they moved with each other, the way he looked at her and she at him, how her eyes sparkled around him, the way he sits more confidently around her.

'Then why is he talking to our daughter?' He thought confused.

'Baby, what teenage boy isn't going to turn down a cute girl who asks them out?'

'She asked him out?' He wondered.

Then I sent him the conversation I had listened in on between Madeleine and her friend.

Madeleine had a friend sleep over the other night and as I had passed by her room to fetch a glass of water, I over heard my baby girl gushing about going out with Zeke Parker.

When her friend congratulated her in Zeke asking her out Madeleine corrected her stating "oh no, I asked him out...sorta, it's complicated but there's no way we won't end up together by the end of the summer."

He sighed.

'What are we gonna do, should I forbid her from seeing him?' He thought a little worried.

'No, we can't meddle or we can make things worse.'

He nodded.

The rest of dinner went more or less the same, I felt my daughters own lust fueled emotions toward Zeke and it worried me more than ever. I knew my daughter would get her heartbroken for the first time when Zeke goes through his first phase in a few weeks.

After dinner we all migrated to the backyard and sat on the large deck Deacon had built for me.

Delilah and Zeke were sitting close to each other without being overly obvious and the rest of the kids were sitting with them.

"Oh hey Zeke I've been meaning to tell you," Giovanni said suddenly. "I know you've been taking my sister out but I gotta tell you, if you hurt her I will hurt you."

'Oh Giovanni no.'

I watched helplessly as Delilah walked angrily away, her brother followed her (which indicated he actually does know about her mate), and Zeke had to sit there and pretend like he didn't care when really he was fighting back a big urge to go and comfort her.

The rest of the evening was awkward between Zeke and Delilah and Madeleine had manage to wiggle her way next to Zeke, I sighed, I didn't like that my daughter was practically throwing herself at a guy who clearly didn't want her. She is a beautiful and vibrant young lady who any guy would be lucky to have, if only she could look passed her clouded eyes.

"Delilah sweetie are you going back tonight?" I asked trying to help the young lovebirds.

"No ma'am, my mom doesn't like me traveling at night so I'll stay the night and leave in the morning." She filled me in.

Then I watched Zeke pull out his cellphone and a minute later Delilah's phone beeped.

I smiled, I hope I helped if even a little.

As night fell Deacon and I stood together and wished our guests good night as they started leaving. I pulled Madeleine to my side before she could cause any more trouble, as for our son, he disappeared when his own cellphone went off...if only Giovanni could find his mate soon.
