Zeke's POV
"So I was thinking, how about you come over to my place tonight." Dominique seductively suggested to Tripp. "My parents are going out of town and they're taking my little brother so we'll have the whole place to ourselves."
Tripp sighed, "I have plans with Zeke." He said without even looking at her.
"Oh." She replied a little hurt as she looked up at me this time, "an old fashioned boys night out huh?"
"Something like that." I answered.
I refused to get dragged into their relationship drama so I always said as little as possible. I awkwardly looked around at the passerby's as Dominique tried her hardest not to question Tripp about his plans for tonight.
"I gotta get going." I said as I stood up, "I'll text you later bro."
He nodded his head, I really did have to go, I was suppose to be meeting up with Delilah and Maddie at my place for a while.
I pulled into my driveway just as the girls were arriving.
"Hey." I happily greeted the two of them. I opened Delilah's door and she jumped out and straight into my arms, I kissed her lips and she smiled as she kissed me back.
"Im, just gonna, wait in the house." Maddie said awkwardly.
I chuckled, "sorry Maddie, come on in girls." I said as I grabbed Delilah's hand and led them inside.
My mother was glad to see the both of them, now that everyone new Delilah was my Mate no one questioned me on anything and my parents were actually glad I had found a mate in Delilah. Apparently (from what my dad has told my mother and I) Delilah is a model she-wolf. She is a good student, a great community leader, and she's not one of those girls who goes around sleeping with everyone.
So of course my mother loved that about Delilah and hoped she would rub off on me.
The girls talked with my mom for a while, they even helped her fix a late lunch.
"So what are you kids up to tonight?" My dad asked when we all sat down to the simple sandwiches.
"Tripp McAvoy invited all of us to go camping out on his family's land." Delilah answered.
"There won't be anything going on will there?" My mother embarrassingly questioned us.
"McAvoy's a good kid." My dad interceded.
"I've seen the way that girlfriend of his is always practically hanging off of him." She countered.
I couldn't help but look in Maddie's direction, and I watched as she silently gripped her sandwich a little too hard, her fingers leaving holes in the bread.
"Uh," Delilah jumped in, she must've noticed Maddie as well and tried to ease the situation. "We were given very strict orders by our alpha to basically keep our virtue intact." She chuckled off at the end.
"Yeah, I know Tripp didn't invite Dominique anyways." I added "they've kinda been having a rocky week."
After lunch the girls and I went upstairs where Delilah played with Bronx and Maddie questioned me relentlessly.
"Has he broken up with her?" Maddie asked excitedly.
I sighed, I hated giving my friend bad news. "No Maddie." My words caused her face to fall into sadness. "But if it's any consolation I can tell she's starting to annoy him."
"But he won't break up with her."
I shook my head No. "He doesn't want to hurt her feelings."
"And what about my feelings?" She asked.
