This is a parody of the poem the "Unknown Citizen"

A man of God was the Friar

Who wanted to believe in something higher

He soon did conspire a plan of peace

So a family feud he would soon cease

He was a mentor who gave advice

To two crazy kids who tried to kill twice

At once, he told Romeo

To Mantua he must go

And never did he believe in so much woe

Juliet took his sleeping poison - not wise

So she did not wake, so ill-advised

And in their mourn, the family came to cries

It was his plan to do good

And he believed that he could

To bring peace and harmony to Verona hood

By joining the Montagues and Capulets

So this family feud they could soon forget

But as soon as started, he did come to regret

The plan was not as happy as thought

Romeo didn't get a letter and was distraught

He rushed to her tomb in the night

So that he would lie with her in all his might

Soon he did die, and she awoke 'fraid inside

Next this woeful bride, stabbed herself and died

And with this tragedy, that started on a balcony

Friar Laurence thought this might be the end of he

Was he a holy man?

Or was this a demonic plan

For him to take Verona in his own hand?
