She wasn't always this way
Without emotion
She cries
The tears of her eyes drying themselves
Without emotion
She smiles
Teeth blinding lights
With a cloud covered soul
Without emotion
She screams
But nobody hears her pleas
Going out to the masses
Without emotion
She pulls her hair
Feeling the pain in her soul
Without emotion
She laughs
But it sounds like broken glass to her ears
Without emotion
She punches the wall
Breaking all her fingers
Wishing to break the chains that hold her
Without emotion
She cries
She smiles
She screams
She pulls her hair
She laughs
She punches the wall
Wishing people really knew her
While all in attempt to learn how to feel again
Inspiration: A quick one I thought of, emerging from some of deepest parts of my being.
