End of school year
Time to clean out lockers
Times of pieces of tapes and ripped pictures
Times of magnets and sparkled stickers
Times of removing full decorations
Rows of kids cleaning out lockers
I see inside snaps of life
Smiling pictures and times of fun
Birthday wishes for everyone
My locker is blank
Gray cold and flat
No tape, no pictures, no magnets, no sparkled stickers
No decorations
No smiles, no fun
No birthday wishes
No signs that this locker belonged to me
No signs that I ever existed
All I know is that I have the locker with "I love Martha" scratched in from years ago
That person left a mark
Where is my locker?
Where is my life?
It isn't here..
Inspiration: The locker cleaning routine that comes with the end of the school year.
