All through the week Justin was no where to be seen. Tyler was happy about it but Josh just felt a little stressed out. What if he came back and started trouble again? He didn't think Tyler could handle that after. It was Friday and Josh had learned to calm down a bit after a dose of persuasion from Tyler.
"Josh! Let's go get junk foooooodddd!" Tyler sang. He jumped on Josh's back and smiled wide. He felt so happy today and he was just glad Josh was here for him.
"Alright, alright. You just settle down, Ty and I'll get you all the sweets you want." Josh laughed and Tyler nodded.
The two walked into the local convenient store, hand in hand this time. Tyler rushed straight to the candy isle while Josh focused on drinks. He bent down to pick up a Monster and a Mountain Dew when he felt the door being closed.
"Uh, excuse me-" He stopped as he saw a smug and arrogant black haired and tattooed boy standing behind the glass.
"Hey there, Joshy boy." Justin chuckled. He closed the door completely and stepped closer to Josh. "How's it hanging?"
"Unless you want your ass handed to you, I suggest getting the fuck away from me, Justin." Josh clenched his fists. He was fuming with sudden anger that Justin brought on.
"Yeah, see, I doubt that's going to happen. Now, why don't we focus our attention on your little boyfriend over there." Justin pointed out. josh looked over to see Tyler happily picking up a bag of chips, juggling all the candy bags in his arms. He looked so cute. Josh looked back over to Justin and tried his best to keep his cool.
"He looks happy right now, doesn't he?" Josh silently nodded, ultimately agreeing with Justin. "Well, he's not. He told me so himself. Even tried to come on to me, if you know what I mean."
"Shut the hell up, Justin. You've got it completely backwards." Josh scoffed, turning around and getting ready to get Tyler and leave the store.
"Whatever, Dun. Not my fault you're dating a man-whore." Justin muttered under his breath. Josh sharply inhaled and balled his fist as tight as he could, spinning around then punching Justin right across his face. Josh tackled him and punched him over and over until he saw blood and heard Justin yelling for him to stop.
"Josh! Knock it off!" Tyler screamed, pulling Josh off of Justin and sitting him down on the floor, holding him.
"Tyler! Why'd you do that?! He deserves every bit of it and you know it!" Josh kicked.
"I know he does! But listen to me! I told you I didn't want fighting! It was over! You just started it again!" Tyler expressed. He felt josh relax in his grip.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, Tyler." Josh whined. He felt so bad for doing that but he couldn't help it. Rage just came over him. "I didn't mean it. I'm so sorry."
"It's okay, baby. I know you didn't. Let's go home, okay?" Tyler said, rubbing his boyfriend's arms. Josh nodded and the two got up, leaving Justin on the floor bleeding.
"Hey." Tyler said to the working cashier. "You've got a bleeding, sexual assaulter over by the drinks. Might want to take care of him." He finished, walking out of the store with Josh in tow.
"I really am sorry, Ty. You know I didn't mean to do that. Something just came over me and he said horrible things about you and-"
"Cutie, it's fine. I know you meant well and were just trying to protect me." Tyler laughed. He held up Josh's hand and kissed it, smiling genuinely at his boyfriend.
"Really?" Josh smiled.
"Yeah! You're a great boyfriend, I must say." Tyler said, happily. The two walked home without their snacks but that didn't matter. They were satisfied with each other's company and it was plenty.
When they got home, they went straight upstairs, turned on some music and just stayed in each other's arms, sharing sweet kisses all through the night. No one bothered them and no one got punched. It was a blissful night. One they'd be more than happy to enjoy any another night.
