It had been a couple days after the date and Josh and Tyler have been hanging out, like always. Tyler's parents weren't as happy about the date with Josh as Joan had been but Tyler was too happy to care. He loved being this close to Josh. It felt comfortable and right to him. It felt natural.
Right now, they were on Josh's bed, sitting together and talking about places they've always wanted to travel.
"I don't know, I think Michigan is pretty cool." Josh said.
"Michigan?!" Tyler shot up in disbelief. "Why do you want to go to a place so cold?!" Josh laughed.
"I like the cold! Sweaters are great and comfortable and you know it." Josh said, smiling. He pulled Tyler back down so he was sitting on his lap.
"I guess that's true but don't you like the beach?" Tyler asked, messing with Josh's hair and resting his head on Josh's body.
"Of course but swimming isn't really my thing. Do you like swimming?" He asked, looking down at Tyler and smiling.
"Nah but I feel comfort in the warmth. That's why I like lying and cuddling with you. You're warm and comfortable and it's amazing." Tyler chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah. I like lying with you too, cutie." Josh said, laughing when he saw Tyler blush. "And the cute just keeps on coming."
"Josh, I swear to god if you make me blush again..."
"What'll happen if I do?"
"You'll see." Tyler said, sitting up and trying to intimidate his close friend.
"Yeah, I'll see your beautiful smile before you hide in my chest again." Josh muttered.
"That's not it." Tyler told him before biting his lip and leaning forward so he was close to Josh's face. Josh smirked and closed the gap between him and Tyler, deeply kissing him until he felt Tyler smile against him lips.
"That didn't help, Ty." Josh told him, licking his lips.
"Yeah, well, I'm not intimidating or scary so," Tyler shrugged and got up, going towards the door.
"Where are you going?"
"Don't worry about it." Tyler taunted.
"Um, no way, Ty." Josh said, getting up and jogging to him. He grabbed his arm and spun him around, making Tyler fall in his arms. "Stay here with me?" Josh finished, looking at Tyler's eyes.
"Maybe. Kiss me first and then I'll decide." Tyler shot back playfully. Josh smiled at his forwardness.
"No problem." Josh whispered, leaning down to kiss Tyler. He ran his tongue around the rim of the boy's bottom lip, gaining entrance and not wasting any time in running his tongue over his. It was obvious that Tyler was going to stay, considering how fast he kissed him back.
Josh pulled back, making Tyler let out a small moan but Josh had other plans in mind. Panting, Josh looked at him and gave a small smile.
"What?" Tyler asked, standing up.
"Be my boyfriend?" Josh breathed, quickly. Tyler looked at him in awe.
"Say that again?" He asked, just to push his buttons a tad bit.
"Be my boyfriend, please, Ty. I- I really like you and kissing you is a great feeling but I'm lacking calling you mine." Josh took Tyler's hands in his own. "That's all I want to do..."
"And you can. I'll be yours, Josh." Tyler smiled widely. Josh immediately pulled him in for a tight hug and rested his head on his shoulder.
"Thank you so much, Ty. I promise I'll take care of you." Josh promised. Tyler chuckled and patted his boyfriend's back. He couldn't be happier in this moment and was more than thankful to have met Josh.
As soon as they pulled out of the embrace, Joan called for them downstairs.
"Boys! Come down here please!" She yelled out from the stairs.
"We'll be right down!" Josh replied. "You want to tell her?" He asked, putting his forehead to Tyler's.
"Only her?" He asked.
"If that's what you're comfortable with, of course." He smiled. Tyler nodded and lightly kissed Josh before opening the door and walking down the steps, holding Josh's hand.
"I just wanted- You two are dating now, aren't you?" She stopped, sounding surprised after seeing the two boys so close.
"Yeah..." Josh said, letting out a sigh. Nonetheless he smiled though. He was more than happy to have Tyler as a boyfriend. He felt on top of the world, like nothing could bring him down.
"Well that's absolutely amazing!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around the two boys. "You better treat each other right. I don't want any broken hearts." She said, seriously. The two agreed but it didn't matter because neither of them had that in mind in the first place.
"Good." She smiled. "Now, back to business, I was thinking of ordering a pizza for you two. I've already eaten but I want you both to eat so, what do you want?"
"Um, could we get a large pepperoni, please?" Tyler asked.
"Of course dear. I'll call you when it's here."
"Thanks, mom." Josh said.
"No problem. Now, go on. Go date each other upstairs. And, Tyler, I know how your parents are so, you won't have to worry about me saying anything. The last thing I want is your parent's hurting you or coming here, causing problems." She rubbed her temple in frustration just by thinking about her. "No offense, honey. I love you but your mother is one hell of a character."
"Trust me, none taken." Tyler laughed. He knew most people couldn't handle his mom; he couldn't handle his mom but it was okay. He barely saw her.

The boys were now upstairs, eating their pizza and watching some show called 'Psych' on Netflix. Tyler was snuggled into Josh's side, constantly laughing at what was going on the the episode.
"I take it you like this show, huh?" Josh asked, hugging Tyler.
"Yeah, I'm glad you showed me it! It's great!" He smiled.
"It really is. Gus is me." Josh said, he was dozing off now and set his plate on the nightstand closest to him.
"Sure he is, Josh. You need to sleep." Tyler told him, kissing his cheek.
"No way. I wanna talk to you." Josh cooed, closing his eyes and sloppily kissing the top of his boyfriend's head.
"I'll talk and you'll sleep, okay?" Josh just nodded and Tyler began telling a story of when he went to his old school and how someone thought he was crazy which just made him laugh for some reason. He noticed Josh smiling but felt his breathing even out, signalling he was asleep. He was glad he went to bed with a smile on his face.
Tyler got up and Josh made a small whining sound that just made Tyler smile and lean over, kissing him. He cleaned up the bed so it was free of pizza boxes and plates then went over to turn off the light, climbing in the bed and cuddling close to Josh and falling asleep with him.

I HAVE AN ENDING PLANNED AND I'M EXCITED. THIS MAY BE REALLY SHORT BUT THERE WILL BE AN EPILOGUE.
(It'll probably be about 12 chapters long? Maybe 13, not including the epilogue.)
Thanks so much for your feedback and stuff! I'm so happy this got 119 read. It may not seem like a lot but I'm actually excited for this because I have like one more joshler in my works and a kellic and I'm ready to release them both after this. Just gotta know which one to publish first. Most likely the Joshler.
