Chapter 2
The Black Hole
The Doctor & Rose (POV)

"What's that your reading?" the Doctor asked peering over Rose's shoulder, while he fiddled with the controls on the Tardis. " 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', and don't tell me how it ends because this is my first time reading this!" Rose replied, still reading the book. "Alright then. Dumbledore dies at the end." the Doctor ended in a whisper. "Doctor!" Rose shrieked, lightly smacking the book against his arm. "Oi! At least I didn't tell you what happens in book 7! And let me tell you, that was a fantastic book! Wait till you read it." The Doctor sighed and continued, "Oh I cried." Suddenly without warning, Rose chucked the book at the Doctor, who at the very last second leaped out of the way. The book hit the opposite wall of the Tardis, and fell harmlessly onto the floor. "What was that for?!" The Doctor said rounding on Rose slightly shocked. "Don't give anything else away! It spoils the surprise!" They glared at each other for a few seconds and then suddenly burst out laughing. "It was after all," the Doctor thought, "A ridiculous reason for a fight." Still laughing he turned around to look at the screen on the dashboard. He stopped laughing immediately, as his eyes fell on the screen, and his expression was replaced with curiosity. Rose, noticing that the Doctor had suddenly fell silent, turned to look at the screen too. Still smiling slightly, she asked, "What is it?"
"Now that's odd." The Doctor muttered, as he started tapping the screen to make sure it wasn't malfunctioning. The image flickered a bit, but still stayed the same as ever. "What is it?" Rose repeated, her eyes darting between the screen and the Doctor, "Doctor, what's that?" "Well," the Doctor started, pulling out his glasses, putting them on, and peering closer at the screen, "It's a black hole." "Alright," replied Rose, still not catching on, "What about it?" The Doctor, still staring at the screen with wide eyes said, "This isn't an ordinary black hole. Don't you see them?" The Doctor turned to look at her curiously.
Rose stared at the screen showing the image of the black hole long and hard, "What am I supposed to be seeing?" Rose asked still looking at the image confused.
The Doctor slapped himself on the forehead saying, "I forgot, humans have to actually see the real thing, not an image of it! But not to worry!" The Doctor said smiling while rushing to the Tardis doors, (Rose trailing after him), "It's right outside." And without further-ado, he pulled open the doors to reveal the black hole, swirling in front of them. "Now look at it." The Doctor said.
Rose stared at it for a long time. When she was about to tell the Doctor she couldn't see anything, she was suddenly engulfed with horrifying images.
She saw a war. Death around every corner. People everywhere were dead, and yet, the battle was still raging on. Among the people still fighting was a girl with extremely long, blond-hair, and a boy with pale skin and white hair shooting out ice from his staff were fighting off a whirlwind of black sand, and...Dementors?! Off to the side a man was looking horror-struck at the destruction caused by the battle, and was attempting to clean it up. A woman with short, blond hair was trying to pull him away. She managed to pull him away, just as a jet of green-light shot toward the place the man was standing seconds before. The one who cast it was...Voldemort?!?! On another part of the battle field she saw....HARRY POTTER?!?! Along with Ron and Hermione?! They were fighting against...DALEKS?!?! Then she looked around and gasped. She saw herself, and the Doctor running....just running. While Death Eaters shot curses at them behind their backs. The sky was cracking in two, making it blood red. Suddenly, everything was blindingly bright. She felt a jab of pain in her head, and she took a sharp intake of breath. The images were gone, and she was back on the Tardis.
"What was that?!" Rose gasped, panting heavily as though she had just run a race. "I believe," the Doctor said, still staring at the black hole, frowning slightly, "That we just saw the future." Rose stared at him, "But, HARRY POTTER was there! How could he be there! Along with Ron, Hermione, Voldemort, the Dementors?! I thought it was all fiction!" The Doctor stayed silent thinking. Then he finally said, "I don't have an answer for that yet." All of a sudden, the Tardis lurched forward and they were thrown backwards. "What's happening?!" Rose yelled, but she had a sinking feeling she knew what was happening. The Doctor shut the Tardis doors and rushed over to the controls. His eyes widened in shock as he looked at the screen, and started fiddling with the controls, shouting, "We're being pulled into the black hole!" Rose rushed over to the dashboard and sure enough, on the screen it showed they were being pulled into the black hole.
A feeling of dread took over her. All she could do was watch the screen as they got closer, and closer to the black hole. "The Tardis isn't responding." the Doctor said as he dashed back and forth between the controls, "It's as if she's stopped working! We're going to fall into that black hole, and there's nothing I can do to stop it!" The Doctor's words were slowly sinking into her head, none of them bringing good news. "We're going to die." she thought, "I'm never going to see my mum again!" The only thought that they might survive this were the images she saw in the black hole. But it wasn't that positive, since it showed that they were at war. She was still staring at the screen, which had started to count down until they hit the black hole.
10..9...8...7...6...
This was it.
5...4...3...
"Here it comes. Ready or not." Rose thought staring horrified at the screen.
2...1...
Rose squeezed her eyes shut. She felt the strange sensation that she was flying and then,
BAM!
Everything went black.
