Chapter 3

The Tower

Jack Frost & Rapunzel (POV)

"Woooo Hoooo!!!" Jack Frost shouted with glee, as he flew at full speed around a kingdom called Corona, spreading snow everywhere. In fact, Jack had never noticed this kingdom before. It was as if it had appeared overnight. But that didn't matter. Not to him anyway. All that mattered to him was that everyone was having fun. "Too bad they can't see me." Jack thought, some of his happiness fading, as he looked down at some kids having a snowball fight. Since there was nothing much else he could do, he decided to start spreading winter somewhere else. So he took off, away from Corona, leaving a trail of snow behind him. He was a while away from the kingdom, when it happened. The path in front of him was clear, he was sure of that. Then he blinked and...

WHAM!

He had slammed head-first into a tower. Eyes watering with pain, he peered at the tower confused, "Now that definitely wasn't there a second ago." He thought while backing up to look at the entire tower. The first thing he noticed was that there were no stairs. In fact, there were no openings at all except for a big window near the top. Cautiously, Jack flew to it, and landed on the window sill. He looked inside, and his mouth fell open. There were paintings everywhere. Literally everywhere. They covered every inch of the walls and the ceiling! Jack stepped forward, towards one of the paintings, leaving a trail of ice behind him with every step he took. This painting had caught his attention first, and seemed to stand out from the others. It showed a beautiful landscape with lanterns filling the sky. A girl with really long, blond hair was gazing up at them from the ground. Jack was so intrigued by the painting that he failed to notice that a girl with extremely long, blond hair was creeping up to him, a frying pan clutched in her hands. Before he knew what was going on, the girl had whacked the frying pan across his head. "Not again." Jack sighed in his head, (which was already throbbing with pain) and blacked out.

Rapunzel shrieked and stepped away from Jack, horrified and excited at what she just did. "I can't believe I did it!" Rapunzel said, excitement evident in her voice, "Wait until Mother hears what I did! Then she'll have to let me see the lanterns!" She turned to smile at her pet/friend chameleon Pascal who was smiling back. "I just have to keep him somewhere in case he wakes up." Rapunzel muttered under her breath looking around the room. "Ah ha! The closet!" Rapunzel exclaimed rushing over to the closet and throwing open the doors. She darted back to Jack and attempted to drag him to the closet. But she slipped on the ice that Jack had made earlier. Rapunzel fell on the floor, and Jack fell on top of her. Blushing slightly, Rapunzel tried to push him off. But it turned out, for her, that Jack was really heavy. So, she tried sliding out from underneath him. She succeeded, and sat on the floor staring at him. Jack was completely unaware of what just happened, since he was still unconscious, with his mouth slightly open, revealing pearly white teeth. Rapunzel took a glance at Pascal who was looking at her confused. "Ok, that didn't work," Rapunzel said, trying to destroy the awkward moment, "I'll try using my hair instead." And with that, she threw her hair at Jack, which instantly wrapped around his waist by flicking her wrist. She then started reeling him in, while backing up toward the closet. Rapunzel pushed him into the closet, while removing her hair from his waist. She quickly shut the doors, and propped a chair up against the handle so it wouldn't open. "Wow, that was hard." Rapunzel sighed leaning against the wall. A couple seconds later, a sing-song voice floated through the window saying, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair!"

A/N: Hi! I hope you liked this! I wrote it, but then accidentally deleted it before I could update it! But thanks to my great memory, this is almost exactly the same as the first one! :) But, it's a but faster than I intended it to be.

And, I'm not sure if I got the name of the kingdom from 'Tangled' right. But I think that's how it's spelled/called.

And I'm also not sure if I got Rapunzel's character right, but i'll improve later on! 😊
