The Golden Trio

The Doctor (POV)

There was a gigantic,

BANG!

And the Doctor and Rose were thrown back onto the floor of the Tardis. Groaning in pain, the Doctor slowly got up, rubbing the back of his head. He turned to look at Rose, his vision a bit hazy. It looked like Rose had either fainted, or had hit her head hard on the dashboard. She was still breathing, so she wasn't hurt that badly. The Tardis was dimly lit, as the Doctor stumbled toward the doors. When he felt the handle, he pulled the doors open, and heard someone gasp. That's when his knees gave way, and he collapsed. He groaned again, and squinted up at the three people standing above him, his vision still hazy. He must have been imagining things because the three people looking down at him with concern, looked like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. "Is he alright?" the girl that looked like Hermione said crouching down to get a better look at him. Now that his vision was clearing up, they really did look like Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But it couldn't be them...could it? "Yeah I think he's alright. He seems to be waking up." Said the guy that looked like Harry, crouching down too. The girl that looked like Hermione, pulled out what strangely looked like a wand. She muttered something under her breath, and the tip of it glowed. He felt a kind of tingling sensation, and she said, "Yep, he's alright. Wait a minute..." She said, a look of disbelief on her face, "He has two hearts!" "What?!" the guy that looked like Ron said, crouching down too, a look of disbelief on his face as well, "But that's impossible! Check again!" He suddenly felt the same tingling sensation, and she said, "I'm positive. He has two hearts."

"But he can't! Check again!"

"Harry, I am not going to check again!" The moment she finished that sentence the Doctor was pulled back to his senses, his eyes widened in shock, he sat bolt right up and yelled,"HARRY?!" The three that were surrounding him, jumped back startled. "That's right." Harry said slowly, still startled by his sudden outburst, "I'm Harry. Harry Potter" The Doctor stared at each of their faces in turn and said in disbelief, "No. No way. That's impossible." "Funny," Ron said staring back at the Doctor, "That's the same thing we said when we found out you had - ow!" said Ron rubbing his arm, for Hermione had just elbowed him, hard. She was also staring at the Doctor, with a clear look of suspicion on her face. "Yes, I'm Hermione Granger, and this is Ron Weasley. And you already know Harry. So, if you don't mind us asking, who exactly, are you?" Hermione asked. "Well, now that's a good question." The Doctor said, smiling a little in spite of himself, "I'm the -"

"Doctor?" Rose called from inside the Tardis, while coming out of the doors, with a hand on her forehead. "DOCTOR?!" cried Harry, Ron and Hermione in shock, as they took glances at each other. Ron got up, and backed up a few paces. The Doctor, Harry and Hermione also got up, while Rose stared at Harry, Ron and Hermione with confusion. "You know," she said, still staring at them,"You guys look like Harry, Ron, and Hermione from 'Harry Potter'." Harry and Hermione glanced at each other confused, "We are, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and what do you mean 'from 'Harry Potter' '?" Rose just stared at Hermione blankly, then turned to look at the Doctor and said, "I think I hit my head way too hard, because I thought she just said they were Harry, Ron, and Hermione."

"She did. And yes," said the Doctor as Rose opened her mouth to reply, "It really is them." Rose's eyes widened in suprise, and slowly turned to look at Harry, Ron and Hermione, who were staring at them with confusion. "Seriously?" Rose said, smiling a little, "It's really them?"

"We're still here you know." Ron said suddenly, a little annoyed, waving his hand in the air a bit. "Oh, sorry." Said the Doctor grinning, turning his attention back to Harry, Ron and Hermione, "I'm the Doctor, and this is Rose." Hermione eyed Rose curiously and asked, "Rose Tyler?" Rose stared back at Hermione, and replied, "Yeah that's right. How did you know that?"

"Same thing we might ask you." Hermione shot back in her familiar bossy-like tone, "Because it looks like to me that you're both muggles. So how do you know so much about us?"

"Uhh...Well...uhh..." the Doctor stammered, and glanced at Rose.

"We'll be very open with you, if you be open with us, deal?" Hermione stated, while sticking out her hand to shake her hand with the Doctor's. "Deal," said the Doctor, while shaking her hand, "You can go first."

"Alright. I am a witch, and they are wizards. Now how about you?"

"Well," the Doctor started, "She's human, I'm not."

"Yeah, we kind of figured that out when we found out you had two hearts." Hermione stated. "If you're not human," Ron said, "Then what are you?" "Timelord." the Doctor stated simply while Harry, Ron, and Hermione stared wide-eyed at each other, "Now it's your turn. How do you know us?"

"A prophecy. In the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic." Harry answered, "It foretold the end of the universe. Basically the end of all worlds."

"Really?" said Rose, suddenly a lot more interested, "We saw something like that too! We saw a future war in a black hole."

"A very odd black hole it was too." The Doctor added, "In fact that's how we got here. The Tardis was pulled through it."

"Tardis?" Ron asked.

"The blue box." he said pointing to the Tardis behind him.

"And when you say black hole," Hermione said slowly, realizing what he was talking about, "Do you mean you were -"

"In space?" The Doctor said, finishing her sentence, "Yes, we were and space, and the Tardis is my...space, ship. It stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space. It's also a time - machine."

"You're joking." Ron stated.

"No, I'm not joking, do want to see?" The Doctor said, pushing open the Tardis doors so Harry, Ron, and Hermione could step inside. When they were all inside, the Doctor closed the doors behind him, as Harry, Ron, and Hermione stared with awe at the Tardis. "You know," Harry said walking around the Tardis, "This reminds me of that tent we used, and your bag, Hermione."

"Yeah your right." Hermione said turning to look at the Doctor, "Did you put an undetectable enlargement charm on this?"

"Nope." He replied, "I used a lot more complicated method. No magic."

"No magic?" Said Ron, looking around with disbelief on his face, "How is that even possible?"

"With science Ronald!" the Doctor said grinning, "I've always wanted to say that."

"You've always wanted to say 'With science Ronald' ?" Said Rose with raised eyebrows.

"Well, not that exactly." The Doctor replied, "But something like that." He then suddenly noticed the 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' book lying innocently on the ground near where Ron was standing. Hastily, he hurried over to the book, and kicked it out of sight, which went unnoticed by the others. Then suddenly without warning, the Tardis took off, and they all stumbled back. "What's happening?!" Hermione cried over the sounds of the Tardis. "We're taking off!" The Doctor yelled, rushing over to the controls, and starting to fiddle with the knobs and buttons. "Doctor, what did you do?!" Rose yelled. "I'm didn't do anything!" The Doctor shouted, "And the controls aren't working!" The Tardis suddenly landed with a,

CRASH!

And someone outside screamed.
