Rose Tyler (POV)

"What's a Stop & Shop?" Ron asked, staring at the gigantic sign confused.

"It's a supermarket." Mr. Monk replied.

"What's a supermarket?" Ron asked, still confused. Mr. Monk and Rose stated at Ron in disbelief.

"What?!" Ron said indignantly, "I've never taken Muggle Studies, so I have no idea what any of these muggle things are!"

"You really should have listened to Hermione and taken Muggle Studies, Ron." the Doctor said, as they walked through the parking lot.

"Hey! I didn't think it would come in handy!" Ron retorted.

Rapunzel giggled.

"What are you laughing at?!" Ron said, turning on Rapunzel.

Still smiling, Rapunzel replied, "Well, you're not alone here. I have absolutely no idea what any of these things are either. For instance, that." she said, pointing at one of the cars in the parking lot.

"That's a car." Rose replied, "And she's right, Ron. You know as much about the muggle world as she does."

"Yeah, but I know what a car is!" Ron retorted, "I know about some muggle things! My dad told me about some."

"Yeah, I remember reading about that." the Doctor said.

"I still can't get over that you have a book about me, Harry and Hermione in your world." Ron said.

"And a movie." the Doctor said, causally.

"What's a-" Ron started to say, but was interrupted but Rose's gasp.

"I just remembered," Rose said, looking at all of them, "Have any of you got any money?"

"Money?" Rapunzel asked confused.

"Long story." Rose said, while searching her pockets. She pulled out a couple of notes, "I have some pounds." Rose said.

"Well, the problem is, we're in America! Not England!" Mr. Monk exclaimed, pulling out some green colored bills, "I have a couple of dollars. Two-hundred dollars actually."

Ron pulled out a couple of gold, silver, and bronze coins, "I only have wizarding money." he said, sorrowfully, "Like that's going to be any help. Doctor how about you?"

"I have this." the Doctor said, holding up his sonic screwdriver, "If there's an ATM machine in there, we're all set to go."

"Ok." Mr. Monk said, "Let's go! There's a lot of stuff I need to get!"

"Don't get too much stuff!" The Doctor said, rushing after the others into the store, "Remember, we're only staying in that house for a couple of days!"

Since it was almost night, only a couple people were still shopping.

"Let's meet by the cashiers in about 30 minutes." The Doctor said looking around, "See you guys later!" he called over his shoulder, walking to the nearest ATM machine.

"Ok..." Ron said, a little shocked by the Doctor's sudden disappearance, "How about girls shop together, and boys shop together." Ron suggested.

"Fair enough." Rose said, "Bye then!"

Rose and Rapunzel then browsed the aisles, and shelves, picking out a couple of foods. Since Rapunzel had no clue what most of the foods in the store were, Rose picked out a few for her. After about 20 minutes of browsing, they ran into Ron and Mr. Monk in the cleaning supplies section. Ron was staring at Mr. Monk with disbelief, as Monk stared at the cleaning supplies, doing his 'hands' thing.
