I ran. I had to get away. Get home. I didn't know where I was. It was dark. I found a door, opening it I hoped to find an exit, but only found a brick wall.

"Baby doll," a voice echoed around me.

I ran, tears pouring down my face.

"Baby doll."

I tripped.

"Baby doll," the voice got louder. Closer.

I sobbed.

"Baby doll."

I covered my ears, not wanting to hear that voice. I shook, crying harder. I screamed.

"SNAKE!"

I woke. Snake above me, straddling me. He held my hands above my head. I tried to break free, wiggling my hands, only to be met with pain from my left arm.

"Please don't hurt me," I sobbed.

"Sophi..."

He got off of me, sitting beside me, leaning against the wall.

I pushed myself up, leaning against the wall next to him.

"I'm sorry.." I said, looking down at my hands.

"Don't be."

He reached over and picked up my bandages arm. He unwrapped it and took a look at it. It was swollen.

"You need to get this looked at," he said firmly.

I shook my head.

"Please," Snake pleaded.

"He'll know. He always knows."

I got out of the bed, pulling on my jeans that laid in a pile beside the bed.

"I should go."

"Don't go," Snake said, crawling over to me and siting on the edge of the bed, "stay here with me. I love you, he won't hurt you. I won't let him. I'll kill him."

"I love you too," I said, "but you had your chance Snake."

Snake was silent, he looked heartbroken. But soon his resolve became steely and collected once more. Pulling on his clothes, he grabbed his keys.

We rode to my apartment in silence. When we got there, I began to open the door but paused.

"Thank you Snake," I said softly.

He put his hand under my chin, turning my face towards him. Placing his hand on the back of my neck, he pulled me into a kiss. My heart melted as I melted into the kiss. His hand fisted in my hair. The kiss was rough and desperate.

"I love you," he said, pulling away, leaning his forehead against mine, "I know I fucked up, but give me a chance."

I shook my head, "I love you. He may hurt me, but what you did hurt me 10 times more."

With that I stepped out of the car, walking to the apartment, leaving Snake behind.
