So this is how the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4 should have gone in my own opinion. Haven't actually seen season 4 yet. Good old aussie life =)

After seeing the test she only had one place she wanted to be and that was at Matt's. She ran out of the apartment she shared with Brett and drove over to Matts. Getting out she raced inside not bothering to look around the street first. She got up to their, or well he's door and knocked on it. All was quiet and she was worried so she knocked again

"Matt! It's me! Gabby" she said as she finally heard footsteps, and not just one set but a few. The door opened to reveal Hank Voight.

"Voight? and guns!" she asked slightly shocked seeing four guns including Voight's and Antonio's pointed at her. She threw her hands up 

"is um, is Matt ok? Is he home?" she asked him as they put their guns back in their hoisters

"yeah come on in Gabby, sorry about the guns, things got hairy at the club tonight" said Voight as Antonio took he's sister in he's arms hugging her as she hugged him back

"So what happened?" she asked looking over at Erin

"Nesbit found out I was working with the cops" said Matt coming out of what used to be their bedroom

"Matt! Have you had that looked at?" she asked racing over to him her EMT training kicking in. She grabbed he's face turning it to the left and right having a good look at it

"ah haven't had the time, we've been held up here, Voight reckons Nesbit going to drop by, hence why they're all here" he said as another girl joined them one she hadn't met before

"Gabby this it Katya, Katya. Gabby" said Matt introducing them

"Wow, you're even more pretty than what Matt has described" she said her Russian accent coming through.

"ah thank" she said. Now realising that now wasn't the time that she'd be able to tell Matt about the pregnancy. Signing she moved into the kitchen filling up the kettle, she went to grab the coffee but thought twice, she then reached for the tea. They had never been big tea drinks but every now and then they would sometimes feel like it.

"Hey" came the voice of Erin joining her

"Hi" said Gabby leaning against the counter while looking at the young detective. 

"I take it that this isn't what you where expecting tonight" she rasped out

"well tonight has been one full of the unexpected" she said closed her eyes.

"Matt's glad you're here. He thought that Nesbit might have gone after you instead" said Erin, Gabby just nodded and moved to the freezer grabbing one of the cold compresses. 

"I'll be right back" she said moving back into the lounge room where Matt was seated, she stood in front of him and kneeled down, before she could do anything her attention was pulled towards Jay who walked back into the room

"That was mouse! He's phone pinged two blocks from here about 5 minutes ago" said Jay

"Alright, keep a look out" said Voight nodding to Olinsky and Halstead

"We'll be up top" Said Olinsky as they picked bags up and raced out the door. Gabby's attention went back to Matt, she pressed the cold compress to the side of he's face, he winced at the sudden contact of ice cold on hot sink but soon settled as Gabby held it there. 

"and we'll be down stairs" added Antonio placing a hand on he's sister shoulder as he walked passed her with Halstead. Leaving Atwater, Voight and Lindsey in the apartment with the other three.
