Isn't She Lovely

cries from a small baby woke Jay up from he's slumber, sitting up he saw he's beautiful wife fast asleep. He leaned over and gave her a kiss before getting out of bed. He walked down the hall and into the nursery. Leaning over the mahogany crib he picked up the crying baby.

"Now, now princess we can't wake money up can we?" He asked her. He's daughter settled down but still whimpered. Jay picked the remote up for the stereo and pressed play. Their favourite song filled the room quietly.

"Well won't you listen to that. Our favourite song" He said to her bouncing her to calm her down even more

"Isn't she lovely. Isn't she wonderful" he started singing to her. Her hazel eyes locked with he's and he smiled as he continued to sing to her as she yawned and closed her eyes

"Isn't she precious. Less then one minute old. I never thought through love, we'd be. Making one as lonely as she. Isn't she lovely made from love?" he sang stopping as she opened her eyes he looked at her and chuckled before continuing

"Isn't she pretty. Truely the angle's best. Boy i'm so happy! We have been heaven blessed. I can't believe what god has done. Through us he's given life to one. Isn't she lovely made from love" He sung stopping again as he's daughter opened her eyes

"Yes yes yes you want daddy to finish singing it" he said

"Isn't she lovely? Life and love are the same. Life is Amelia. The meaning of her name. Erin, it could not be done, without you who conceived the one. That's so lovely made from love" He finished he's daughter fast asleep by now. He turned around and jumped seeing erin in the door way.

"Hi" He said blushing

"You're cute you know that right?" She asked him coming up behind him wrapping her arm around he's waist.

"She good?" she asked him

"Yeah I think she wanted a cuddle" He said looking at Erin

'Why are you up?" He asked her

"I woke up to a cold bed then I heard you singing" She said to him taking their daughter and placing her into her crib before leaning over it and kissing her forehead

"Mommy and Daddy love you Amelia. Sleep well my Princess" She said as Jay kissed her head as well before they walked out closing the door to the nursery. Jay walked Erin back to their room. Erin crawled back into bed and Jay joined her soon after.

"Love you Erin Halstead" He said pulling her to him

"Love you more Jay Halstead" She replied giving him a quick kiss
