"Hey babe!" Called Matt looking at he's stupid penguin suite he had to wear for tonight ballot party. The party that would either be the victory or defeat one between Casey and Altmen.

"What is it?" Asked Gabby walking into their bedroom

"Could you dress pretty tonight?" He asked her

"I was planning on wearing what I always wear" She said confused

"Nope, dress, hair and make-up" He said smirking

"I'm going to go down stairs and start making lunch, Check the wardrobe for something" he said walking out. Gabby frowned before picking up her phone and calling Brett

"For crying out loud women! Just open your damn wardrobe!" answered Brett

"How did you know I would be calling about this?" Asked Gabby confused

"Matt said that you might need a little convincing just please check it!" Said Brett. As Gabby roles her eyes but opens the doors anyway. 

"I don't know what he expects me to wear exactly!" said Gabby

"Oh I don't know. Try the black garment bag" said Brett

"What's going on?" Asked Gabby

"Nothing! Matt just wanted you to feel special tonight" she said to her

"Why it's he's night" Said Gabby

"Yeah but you've been there for him though everything!" Said Brett

"That's true" She said sighing "Thank to Herrmann and all of you at 51 as well" she added

"Have you opened the bag yet?" she asked excited

"Not yet i'm just about to" She said unzipping it to have a beautiful evening gown was revealed

"Oh my god! Sylvie have you seen it?" she asked shocked

"I was with him when he brought it!" She said laughing

"Now thank you man, have lunch, Severide is going to pick him and he's penguin suite up and I am going to get you all dolled up. I'll see you in about an hour and a half" she said to her

"Somethings up and I will find out" Said Dawson

"Keep telling yourself that" Said Brett hanging up. Gabby smiled and walked down stairs to see Matt bent over looking into the oven. Grilled sandwiches. Nice. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around he's waist

"Baby, that dress is stunning!" she said to him as he turned around and looked at her

"you like it?" he asked her

"I love it" She said giving him a kiss as he pulled back before pulling their lunch out. 

"So Brett tells me Severide is coming over to steal you and your penguin suite from me while Brett dolls me up" She said to him

"Yup that's the plan sugar" he said as they finished their food. Matt walked up stairs to grab he's suite and shoes before the door bell went off.

"Babe, Sevs here most likely with Brett" He called out from upstairs

"Yeah i've got it!" she said opening the door on the pair

"Hey" Said the two hugging her.

"Matt will be down in a minute" Said Gabby
