***I want to apologize for my lack of updating. I've been so busy I completely forgot about updating. I feel so bad for forgetting this story. But I am back and ready to update again. I will also be beginning a new series about fairy tales with a modern day twist. Please forgive me about being away for so long. I hope to make it up to you.****

The alarms told him something was wrong. He examined the baby and tried to figure out what was wrong. Her oxygen levels were dropping, her blood pressure was falling. She needed surgery. Something inside her was bleeding. He had to fix her now. He rushed her to the operating room and paged Jane. He prepared himself as well as the baby by the time Jane arrived. She scrubbed in and prepared for the operation.
"What have we got?" She asked as they looked at her vitals.
" Her oxygen is dropping as is her blood pressure. There has to be a bleed somewhere. That or there is something with her heart. I thought I heard a murmer before. We need to do an exploration to see what we are dealing with. I fear without finding it out she could die." He explained to Jane.
"Let's begin." Jane said to him. " Just remember she could always have a perforated bowel. She still hasn't pooped."

Nalla walked down to check the babies and found one of them gone. She also found Rhage and Mary looking nervous and scared. Something wasn't right. The babies weren't allowed to leave. She looked more closely and realized that it was the girl that was gone.
"What's going on?" She asked them.
Rhage looked up at her, " Her oxygen dropped as did her blood pressure. She's in surgery now."
"Surgery? Can her body handle that?" Nalla asked them.
" We can only hope. She's been gone about half an hour." Mary said.
"Why didn't you call someone? Uncle Wrath would come support you." Said Nalla.
"We didn't want to worry anyone until we knew for sure what we are dealing with." Rhage explained, "It's hard dealing with this. We don't want everyone to stop their lives for us."
She felt bad for them. She knew they needed support. She pulled out her phone and sent a text to Beth. She knew that Beth would come for them. She didn't want them sitting there alone with just themselves. She was worried about them. Soon everyone in the mansion was there and Rhage and Mary were looking happier and less stressed. About a hour after she had arrived Hunter came into the room.
"She is out of surgery. She had a bowel blockage that has torn and was bleeding. we stopped the bleeding and fixed the hole. We fixed the blockage. She is stable right now. Jane is finishing up. She will need to be monitored for a while so we can see how she does after this." Hunter said to them.
"Is she going to be okay? Will she start gaining weight?" Mary asked softly.
" She will be alright I believe. She should gain weight but with preemie babies they have to progress at their own pace. The boys, well they seem to be on their way to being ready to leave. They are almost there. She will take a little longer is this surgery was all she needed."
"When can we see her again?" Rhage asked him.
" As soon as she wakes up. I need to go check on her." He said, "Jane will bring her in as soon as we can. But be prepared. Babies and small children do not take coming out of anesthesia very well. She will cry and cry and be tired. That's a good thing. Her little body needs to rest and heal."
"When can we hold her?" Mary asked him.
"Not today possibly tomorrow after I check her. But it depends on how her night goes. If it goes well then I don't see why you can't hold her."
Nalla watches him leave the room and she sighs. At least the baby made it through. Now she just needed to tell the others what was said. Who was she kidding they all had heard anyways. But she didn't want to crowd them when the baby was brought back. She left and headed up to the main house. She wanted to do something nice for them. But what could she do? Then a thought hit her. They needed a new nursery set up. Theirs was only ready for one baby not three. She went to find Bianca and Sage and enlist their help.
