The lesser in front of him was putting up a hell of a fight. He kept trying to stab him. When he missed a beat, Hunter took charge and tackled him to the ground and began to stab his heart over and over again. Finally giving it a twist and collecting the jar and tossed it to the waiting Rhage. The brother chuckled and shook his head. He closed his eyes and tried to trace any sort of lesser. He caught a ping near the mansion. He turned and ran like hell to get there. He found the hybrid sitting in a tree above the entrance to the underground bunker. He saw a gun in his hand.
The pregnant female looked right at him. He hadn't expected anyone to come from the mansion. He wanted to kill the one that got away. The project that went wrong. P would be glad to know he aimed the gun at the heart of the one who smelled pregnant. E pulled the trigger and smiled as she went down and the smell of blood entered the air.
He saw red as he changed direction and went to surprise the hybrid. He slimbed a nearby tree and took aim. He launched his body at the hybrid and knocked them both from the tree. Even though he wanted to wait the pain out he knew he couldn't. He climbed on top of the hybrid and started punching the fucker in the head. He felt strong arms wrap around him and pull him off. He growled at Rhage as Vishous pulled the hybrid to his feet and tied him up. He felt Rhage haul him into the house. Vishous was behind them as he was taking the hybrid somewhere. Rhage let him go when they got to the enterance to the bunker. He silently prayed that Nalla was not harmed and that the vision as fake. When the door didn't open he got angry. Rhage seemed confused and heard screaming from inside. They both ran out to the outside entersnce and opened it. The women and children began pouring out as did a bunch of fog. When Jane and Bianca came out last with Nalla in their arms he dropped to his knees. She was bleeding and not awake. He felt his body begin to shake with anger. He felt like he wanted to kill someone.
The Scribe Virgin walked to the common meeting ground where the Omega waited. He didn't seem happy with the meeting and something else. She hadn't wanted to leave her looking glass. The brotherhood was under attack and she was furious.
"Brother mine, I believe you know why I am here." she stated matter of factly.
"Certainly not because you missed my face." He joked.
"Now is not the time for this. I understand why your creations are on the earth, but did you give orders for this?" She flicked the temporary looking glass and waited for his response, " Your creations are creating hybrids with my people. My creations. This clearly goes against what our agreement lays out."
"I will have you know, sister mine, I didn't order this, nor do I condone this behavior." He said seeming aggravated.
"I highly doubt that, brother. I want it taken care of or I will be able to react as our agreement states. Do you need to see that as well?"
"No I remember fairly well. I'll take care of it. Give me one week maybe two tops to track down every last one of my men dedicated to this project. They will not like what will happen to them."
"I don't want to see anything like this again. Do not make me retaliate. You know full well what I am capable of."
She turned the glass off and turned to walk away. She wanted to see what was happening. She wanted to step in and intervene but she wasn't sure if she could do that. The walk away from her brother told her that she was stronger still than him. A war was coming and she knew what to expect. She knew how prepare her warriors. She would need to plan for her death, if it was to happen. She wanted to know her children were thriving andbcpuld live without her if that were to happen.**********
One chapter remaining before the end of the book! I can't believe it's almost done.
