Nine

Hunter stepped out of the shower. He needed to do a check on the babies and see if the boys were still doing good. He wanted to relax but knowing that the babies needed him was all that kept him going. He needed to prepare the parents for the possibility of bringing at least one of the babies home. He needed a plan. Baby A was gaining weight as was baby B. But baby A was closer to the five pounds than baby B. He needed to check on them before planning on releasing them. He dressed in scrubs and headed down to the hospital wing. On the way there he saw Nalla coming out of the gym.
"I was just with the babies. All three just finished a bottle and are content. The girl, Hera, ate a full two ounces." She informed him.
" They named them?" He asked her.
" Oh I'll let them tell you. Are you going to check them?"
"Just one last check before I turn in. I'll be crashing down here just in case the girl, Hera, needs anything."
"Well I'll see you tomorrow then."
She went to move past him and he grabbed her arm and pulled her to him for a kiss. Her lips were soft and moving against his. His body felt like it was on fire with lust. He didn't want to stop. He needed to. He found himself pushing her against the wall and pinning her hands above her head. He deepened the kiss and ground his hips against hers. She moaned against his mouth and he felt himself getting her even harder. A cough caused him to pull away.
"I am not one to judge but I would like to go to the gym." Said a tall guy with mismatched eyes.
"I am sorry." Nalla said, "Hunter this is Quinn. Quinn, Hunter, Butchs son. The triplets doctor."
"I am sure your father doesn't know about this so I'll keep quiet."
"Please." Nalla smiled to him and continued up the stairs.
"Whatever you do, do not hurt her. I swear I'll hunt you down. That girl is precious."

Nalla walked up to her room in a daze. She was shocked at how she felt after their kiss. After she left him. She was turned on and feeling alone. She was also worried about telling her father she wanted Hunter.
A knock on her door startled her. The door slowly opened and her mother came in. She smiled at her and motioned her to sit on the chair beside her vanity.
" Nalla, you know I love you and want to see you happy."
"Of course."
"Then why are you here and not with Hunter. It's obvious that you want him."
"What makes you say that?"
"I saw you kissing. I didn't mean to. I was going to see Mary and the babies but I didn't want to interrupt so I came back up here. So that makes me question why you aren't with him."
"Because he's working. He has to keep track of the babies health progress. I don't want to interfere with his work."
"He's sleeping in the nurses quarters down there. I think you need to go see him. Don't just let him go. Show him you want him."
"How?"
"Oh darling I thought you would never ask."

He looked at Rhage and Mary and smiled. "I know I said five pounds for the babies to leave, but I think that baby A, Zeus, May be ready to go. He's gaining weight, his vitals have been steady, and he's growing. I'll know for sure tomorrow. Baby B, Orion, will follow shortly behind. Its Hera that seems to to need the most attention. I've never seen any baby ready to leave the NICU in just under a week." He said, "Tomorrow when I decide if he ready to leave, I'll have to see if he passes a car seat test. But once that happens I'll give you a night in a room with just him to see if you are ready. If you are then he's free to go. But when he leaves, he cant come back in here unless a health issue arises. And even then he will have to be kept separate from them. Are you prepared for that?"
