As I walked into Ezra's classroom I slipped his briefcase on his desk.
"Hey."
"Hey, you left your case at my house."
"God. I have been looking everywhere for it. Thank you. Now, I have a stack of papers to grade."
"I was thinking I could go over your place after school. And I have to ride with you. My mom dropped me here.
"Yeah, sure, but I have a little surprise for you."
"What is it?"
The bell interrupted him and I took my seat."
"We'll talk at my apartment."
I stared at Ezra while the taught his lesson and I couldn't help but blush. I tried to hide my face and not look in his eyes.

AFTER CLASS

"Aria? Feeling better?"
"Yeah, I am."
"When we came to your house yesterday you looked horrible yesterday."
"Well, I'm fine."
"Can you believe Mr.Fitz is leaving again?"
"What are you talking about?"
"You didn't know?"
"I did I just forgot."
"How are you?"
"What do you mean?"
"With Ezra and his son and-"
"We aren't together anymore."
Ezra stared at me down the hall and went back into his classroom.
"I have to go home. My mom needs me."
I left quickly without them trying to stop me. I walked into the parking lot and got into his car.
"Let's go."
