I quickly ran to the bathroom and cried. I lied to Ezra. I was pregnant. I didn't want him to worry because I was going to get rid of it. I went to my room and re-did my makeup and sat back down at the table.
"Sorry, I just needed a minute." I say as I sat back down in my seat.
"Ella, could I talk to you, in our bedroom?" My dad said as he was getting up.
"Sure, give us a minute."
They left and I tried to not look up.
"Aria? Are you okay?"
"No, I'm not. I have to tell you something but now isn't the time."
"Okay, how about when this dinner is over, you come over to my apartment?"
"I'll try."
He put his hand on my thigh and then my arm.
"I love you, Aria. And I'll never stop."
He was leaning in until my parents came out.
"I have to go." Ezra excused himself and left. Then I went up to my room.
God, what am I going to do? Why did I lie to him? I could tell him everything. I know he'll be there for me. He always is. Let's just hope this time.
