Remember Ezria

Chapter 3

I was sitting on Ezra's couch wondering what was going through his mind.

"Are you happy?" I asked.

"Yes. I mean, we weren't ready for a child. You're still in high school."

"Ezra, I'm sorry if I did get pregnant. I would have ruined your whole life."

He didn't reply. He just looked at me and kissed my forehead and I smiled. Then my phone went off.

"Hello?" I said getting up to walk outside of Ezra's apartment.

"Aria? We've all been worried about you! You've been gone for two days."

"Mom, I'm sorry. I'm coming home." I looked at Ezra. And I waved. He came slowly running towards me and kissed my lips. The second time, we kissed more passionately.

"I have to go before you make me stay. Plus, you know we have to be more careful." I let out a little laugh and so did he.

"I'll be back when I see what my mom talks then I'm all yours."

I left and I got home and my mom pulled me into a huge hug.

"Mom, are you okay?"

"I'm fine. We were about to file a missing report to the police. You had us all worried." She dropped a little tear.

"I'm fine mom. There's nothing you need to worry about. I was just at a friends house."

"Okay, I need to ask you a question. It's.." She put her hand out for me to sit down.

"Sure , what is it! I could tell you the truth about anything."

"Are you seeing Ezra again? Not like around the city. But dating."

"I told you already. We broke up. He's probably moving somewhere to get away from Dad."

"That's not true. I'm sure Ezra loves you. I'm sorry you can't be with him."

"I'm sure he doesn't. Do we have to talk about him?"

"I guess not."

"Anyways, I have to be at Spencer's today."

"No, you're staying home today. You've been gone all weekend."

"Alright, let me call him and cancel." I walked out and I called Ezra.

"Hey, I can't come over today."

"I have to find a job since I got fired. Is something wrong?"

"No, my mom wants me to stay for some reason. I don't know why but I'll see you around. I love you bye."

"Love you too."

I walked inside to find dinner made, and everyone sitting at the table.
