Chapter Twenty Four

I sat on the couch and I let out a big sigh.

"What's wrong?" Ezra came into the living room and sat next to me.

"It's Jake. I just- I can't believe."

"Not all people are honest. Not all people are who they say they are."

"Yeah but, what happens when he gets out or jail? What if he comes back and tries to- and he tries- tries"

"Aria, that's not going to happen. I'm safe. We're safe."

He grabbed my hand and kissed me. I looked into his eyes and I leaned in for another kiss. I started to unbutton his shirt.

"Woah, Aria. Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." I said it on his lips.

He carried me to the bed and you know what happened 😌 .

I woke up in Ezra's arms and he was still asleep. He looked so peaceful when he was sleep. I moved in closer to his body and put his arms around me.

"Hey, beautiful."

I turned around and stared his face.

"Hey."

I kissed him and I got up. I pulled the sheets over my body so I wouldn't be exposed.

"I have school so I have to head out in an hour."

"We have enough time."

"Ezra, you know if I get back into bed, it's going to be hard for me to get out." I said as I was grabbing my clothes and going into the bathroom.

"Anyways, you have to go to Hollis. Aren't you working today?"

"Yeah, later today. I only have 2 classes."

"That's great." I said as I was coming out the bathroom.

"I love you but I have to go bye!"

I gave him and kiss and rushed out his apartment.
