It was a couple days later, and I was at home with Rachel while Aiden and Carl were fishing. I wanted to go too, but Rachel needed my help with getting ready for our weekend trip to New Orleans.
I was across the house packing Aiden and my bags while she was packing her's and Carl's.
"Sarah!!" She called.
"Yes?" I called back and made my way across the house.
"Is this shirt cute?" She asked. I looked at the shirt, that actually fit her well, and smiled.
"Beautiful," I said, smiling.
"Thank you," she smiled.
Not too much later, Aiden walked in the door.
"Babe! Come help me clean fish!" Aiden called.
"Coming!" I sang. I put on my work boots and went outside. I got the ice chest from the boat, and went over to the table. They caught mainly catfish and a couple brim. I banged the head of the fish with the hammer, to kill it completely, then cut the fish, throwing out the guts, and filleting the meat. I saw Aiden watching me from across the yard. I sent him a smile and then finished with the fish. He came and washed the table and I took the filleted meat in the house.
When Aiden came inside, he walked over to me. He tried to kiss me but I stopped him.
"Go shower, stinky," I pushed him off. He pouted.
"Wanna help me?" he asked.
"NO," I giggled, as he pulled me with him.
"You're coming with me," he exclaimed, laughing.
"No! You stink!" I yelled, as he pulled me in the bathroom.
"Okay," he chuckled, "I see how it is."
"Yeah. Today's just not the day to be showering together." I giggled and walked out. I waited patiently in the bedroom.
That's when it hit me: his soap was in the bag that was on the floor right next to me.
"SARAHHHH!!!!"
I laughed and grabbed the soap from the bag and went into the bathroom.
"What, babe?" I asked.
"I need soap." He said softly.
"What's the magic word?" I teased.
"Right now is not the time to be childish." Aiden said.
"Okay, here. But only because you reek of fish," I said.
"Thank you." He said, as I handed him the soap. He grabbed my arm with his other hand and pulled me into the shower. I squealed and he laughed, loudly. I started laughing too, but soon stopped when I realized he was naked.
"I...uh...I'm gonna get out." I said softly.
"Why?" He asked.
"You're naked," I said, awkwardly.
"Wouldn't be the first time you've seen me." Aiden smirked.
"Yeah...but.."
"If your uncomfortable, go ahead." He said.
"I'm sorry." I said softly, and got out.
My clothes were soaking wet, so I took them off and wrapped myself in a towel. I went back into the bedroom and changed my clothes. My phone rang, while I was getting dressed. Without checking the caller ID, I answered and put it on speaker.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Well well well, look who finally answered their phone."
Rob's voice cut through me like a knife. I stumbled to my phone.
