Chapter 15:

I woke up the next morning, uncovered. I looked over at Aiden who was wrapped up in the blankets. I laughed a little. I kissed his cheek softly and went into the bathroom to get dressed. When I got out he was still asleep. I was going to go to the hospital, but I don't wanna wake him up. I went downstairs and wrote a note.

Aiden,
Good morning, baby! I headed to the hospital to see Mike. You were still asleep...and you looked way too cute to way up... ^.^ I'll be back soon! Love you, babe!

I grabbed my keys and my purse and headed to the hospital. When I got to Mike's room, he was laying there, alone. No one was in the room with him. I saw a couple tears fall down his cheeks. I sighed and knocked on the door and walked inside.

He looked up at me and smiled. His brown eyes were bright, but that might be from the tears that filled them.

"Sarah I'm so sorry!" He cried.

"No, Mikey! Don't be sorry!" I said.

"I just really need someone right now." He said. "Between Anna leaving and just hating life, I don't know what to do anymore."

"What you mean?" I asked, sitting on the side of the bed next to him.

"I mean I just need someone to love me. I need someone to never leave me." He said. I looked at him.

"We all love you Mikey." I said, holding his hand. "We're your family."

"Yeah, but, I need someone that's not my family....I need a real...a real...lover." He stuttered. "Sarah...I need you...I love you."

I was taken back, so I got up, letting go of his hand.

"Mike I can't." I said. "I can't be with you."

"Why not?!" He cried. "I was there for you when you were fighting depression!"

"But I'm with somebody!"

"So was I!"

I sighed and sat back down next to him.

"Michael, it's different though. I love Aiden." I said.

"I could show you that you could love me the same way." He said. "But you have to give me the chance."

"I can't."

"I'm begging you."

"I. Can't. Michael." I spoke with staccato articulations.

"Tell me...when he kisses you...what do you feel?" He asked me.

"Sparks...butterflies...love..and happiness." I said.

"Why don't you kiss me and find out if you feel the same way."

"Michael...I..."

"Please...just once...if you don't like it, then I won't bother you anymore." He promised.

"Just one kiss?" I asked.

"Just one kiss." He assured me.

"Okay," I sighed. I shut my eyes and leaned into him...

*Aiden's POV*

I woke up to an empty bed.

"Sarah?" I called walking downstairs. I saw a piece of paper on the counter.

Good morning, baby! I headed to the hospital to see Mike. You were still asleep...and you looked way too cute to way up... ^.^ I'll be back soon! Love you, babe!

I smiled and called Dave.

"What's up, man?" He asked.

"Just wondering if you were going to the hospital to see Mike. Sarah went already, before I woke up this morning." I said.
