I woke to the sounds of a baby crying. My instincts made me get out of the bed and walked to the room where the crying was coming from. I turned on the light to see a baby boy screaming bloody murder.
I picked him up and rocked him back to sleep. "Shh shh, baby, it's okay." I spoke softly, as his crying stopped. He just looked up at me, with his beautiful hazel eyes. They looked just like Aiden's eyes...
I could feel a ring on my finger. Wait a second...I'm married? Is this my baby?? I don't remember giving birth...or even getting married...
I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Is Jayden ok?" I heard Aiden ask.
"He's fine. Probably just a night mare." I said then my breath hitched.
"What's wrong?" Aiden asked.
"Are we married Aiden?" I asked.
"Yes," he chuckled. "We got married two years ago."
"Oh." I said.
"You're tired baby, let me put him back to sleep and I'll be back in a few minutes." Aiden said. I nodded, slowly, and handed him the baby. The walk back to the room was blurry. I felt a little dizzy but I was okay. I laid down in the bed, and fell asleep.

I was standing in the kitchen, drinking coffee as I watched Aiden play baseball with Jayden.
It felt just like a second ago I was rocking Jayden back to sleep as a new born baby...
When they came back in, Aiden was talking Jayden.
"Okay, son, why don't you go wash up and get ready for breakfast."
"Yes sir!" Jayden smiled and ran upstairs. I put my coffee cup down, and Aiden wrapped his arms around me and kissed me.
"He's getting so much better at catching the ball." He chuckled.
"That's good," I smiled.
"It's hard to believe he's four already." Aiden sighed.
"I know." I said. "It makes me feel old."
"Is that a grey hair I see?" Aiden smirked. I gasped.
"No way!" I exclaimed and struggled out of his grasp.
"I'm kidding!" He laughed. I hit his chest.
"Humph." I said.
"Mommy!!" Jayden ran downstairs. "Look what Daddy gave me!!"
He showed me Aiden's glove from when he played T-ball.
"Yeah, baby! That's cool!" I exclaimed.
"I love it daddy!" He exclaimed.
"I'm glad," Aiden smiled and pulled him into our hug...

I sat up straight in the bed. I looked over at Aiden who was fast asleep. I carefully got out of the bed, and went to the room where the nursery was. The room was still empty, except for some boxes. I felt my finger...no ring.
