It was a couple weeks later, and we were getting ready to leave to Louisiana. Mike was out of the hospital, but they had put him in a mental facility for about a week. He was home, next door, and Anna moved out. I had the house sold, and we had another week to move out. Aiden and I are good, but we've been arguing a lot more since the incident with Mike. Everything feels like it's falling apart again.
I spent most of my alone time crying now. I don't like to cry in front of Aiden anymore...I don't want him to think I'm weak.
Between selling my stuff and packing, the house is fairly empty. When we get to Louisiana, I've already bought a house. Aiden told me about it, and he said he was looking at it, but couldn't ever afford it. We split the cost of it, though, so we're going to live together. We're actually buying a house together! I guess that's a good thing right? Another step forward?
I put my final bag in the moving truck, which was being driven, by Joe and Brad, to Rachel and Carl's house. Aiden was leaning against my Range Rover, smiling.
"Ready for our road trip?" He asked. I smiled and shut the moving truck's back hatch. I told the guys directions from the interstate to Grosse Tete.
I walked over to Aiden. He rested his hands on my waist and kissed me softly.
"I love you." I said, smiling.
"I love you too, babe." He smiled. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him a little harder. He moaned softly and pulled me closer by my waist. I felt his tongue against my lips and I knew what to do. I did the same. Finally we pulled apart and he pecked my lips, both my cheeks, nose, and my lips again.
"You're so cute." He chuckled.
*Mike's POV*
I sat in the window of my empty house and watched them. They're so happy...oh great! Now they're making out! Ugh...
Now I see how Rob feels when he sees them together...but Rob was different...he controlled her and pushed her away. But I was always there for her...and she runs to this broke idiot again..
I walked outside, where they were getting in her truck. I threw the rest of my bags in my car and started the long drive to Louisiana...alone.
*Sarah's POV*
"They can imitate you, But they can't duplicate you. Cause you got something special, That makes me wanna taste you. I want it all day long, I'm addicted like it's wrong. I want it all day long, I'm addicted like it's- Whatcha gone, Whatcha gone do with that dessert?!" Aiden and I sang at the top of our lungs.
"Murder that murder that dance floor, dance floor!" He sang, bouncing in his seat. I laughed loudly and covered my mouth. He smiled and looked at me.
"I miss that laugh." He sighed. "I haven't heard it in so long."
"I've laughed since I've been back with you," I said.
"Yeah, but never loud like that. I love your laugh." Aiden smiled and rested one hand on my thigh.
"Thanks, babe." I said softly. He smiled at me.

We made it back home to Rachel and Carl's house. The moving truck was there, meaning Joe and Brad was here too. Aiden and I was going to take them in the morning to get them both a vehicle.
Rachel ran out he door and attacked Aiden with a hug.
"Sarah! You come here too!" She exclaimed. I laughed and joined in on the hug.
"My babies!" She smiled. "Y'all are home!"
Aiden chuckled. "I told you, Ma."
"I know," she sighed letting go of us. "I just missed y'all so much!"
"We missed you too," I said. She smiled.
"Your friends are inside," she said.
"Okay," I smiled
We walked in the front door to see Brad and Joe sitting on the couch.
"Hey guys!" I beamed.
"Hey, girl!!" Joe exclaimed. I giggled and hugged them.
"Have y'all heard from anyone else?" I asked.
"Well, Chester and Mike made it to the hotel in Baton Rouge about twenty minutes ago. And Rob and Dave just passed through Port Allen about ten minutes ago and they're going into Baton Rouge."
"Alright. Well, dinner's ready, y'all!" Rachel said. She always had food ready for when we arrived home.
"Oh yum!" Carl jumped up.
After eating dinner, I was helping Rachel clean the kitchen while the boys sat outside talking and drinking beer.
"So, how did it feel having an empty house?" I asked. "I mean besides Carl."
"It was nice actually. It got a little lonely though." She said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah," she said. "But I mean. It was just hard knowing y'all were across the country."
"I know." I said, "we won't be very far anymore."
"Okay," she smiled.
"So um, I was telling Aiden, that uh, if you and Carl want me to, I want to build y'all a new house." I said. She looked at me.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because. If you don't want it, that's fine. But the offer is on the table." I said. She just looked at me.
"Sarah...you've been way too good to us."
"It's nothing. I do it because I love y'all." I said, smiling. The door swung open, and Aiden grabbed my waist.
"Come on sexy, come sit outside!" He slurred.
"Aiden, you're drunk."
"So? Let's go." He said.
I sighed. "Alright fine." I said and followed him outside. He sat in a lawn chair and pulled me into his lap.
"Awe how cute!!" Joe cooed. I threw a stick at him from the ground and he chuckled.
"So I think Mike is planning revenge on Aiden." Brad said.
"I dare him to come after me or my girl again. I'll kill him." Aiden said, grip tightening on my thigh.
"Aiden!" I exclaimed. "Y'all excuse him. When he's drunk his mouth gets loose."
Joe chuckled. "It's fine, Sarah."
Later that night everyone went to bed. I had to drag Aiden to bed, but he refused to go to sleep. He wasn't drunk anymore, it had worn off, but he was still giddy. I sat on the end of the bed. Aiden grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back to him. I was between his legs. I turned around and put my legs on either side of him.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"For what, love?" I asked.
"Acting like I did." He said.
"You just had a couple drinks too many. I'm not mad," I giggled. He smiled.
"Alright." He said, and smiled at me. "I love you. Please never forget that."
"I won't baby." I said, and kissed his cheek.
