I woke up the next morning, to an empty bed and the sound of a piano playing in the room across the hallway. I got up and followed the sound. I could hear Aiden singing a Wayne Toups song- "True Love" softly while playing the piano. I smiled; I absolutely loved this song.
I walked in, without him realizing I was in there. I picked up on the chorus with him.
"It's so easy to love, and walk away. All I'm asking of you, is baby please stay. And hold me tight. The time is right. To love me, but don't leave me blue. Don't leave me blue!"
He looked at me, shocked by my presence. I wrapped my arms around his chest.
"Good morning beautiful." He said.
"Good morning." I said softly.
"Are we going to work today?" He asked.
"No, it's Saturday. Why don't we enjoy a day at the beach?" I asked.
"That sounds nice." He said.
I went into the bathroom and changed into a two piece bathing suit. Aiden walked in, and changed into a pair of dry-fit shorts and a t-shirt.
"Why don't you wear a bikini?" he asked me.
"...Because..." I said softly, "I'm too big."
"No you're not." He said. "You're perfect."
"Well, I'm not comfortable." I said.
"Not even for me, baby?" he asked, grabbing my waist. I sighed.
"I don't have one to wear for you," I said.
"Then I'll buy you one." He said. "Not today, but I will."
"Okay," I chuckled.
I grabbed a couple beach towels from the closet and sunscreen. I really was ready for a day of relaxing with Aiden. Everything had been so uptight, because in the back of my mind I knew I would have to leave him again. But not anymore. We're together now, and nothing can separate us.
We got out to the beach and I put up and umbrella. Aiden put down the towels, and laid down. I could see tall, storm clouds off in the distance, though, it was abnormal that Los Angeles got any kind of rain or storms at all.
"Is that rain?" Aiden asked.
"Maybe," I said, "You came to LA and now it wants to rain. What have you done?" I asked, joking. He chuckled.
"I ain't do nothing." He said and stuck his tongue out at me.
"You're grammar is atrocious," I said.
"I was joking," Aiden laughed.
"I know," I giggled.
We laid there in a comfortable silence for a while. I felt him grab my hand, and I looked at him. He wasn't even looking at me. His eyes were shut and he was relaxing. I smiled, contently.
"Why are you staring at me, Sarah?" He asked. I quickly looked away.
"I'm not." I said.
"You were." He chuckled.
"Nope." I said. I heard him turn over.
"You were staring at me, Babe." He said.
"And? I can't look at you, Aiden?" I asked.
"Nope." He smirked. I raised my sunglasses off of my eyes and looked at him.
"I got ya," I said.
*Aiden's POV*
