*Aiden's POV*
The next morning we were up and around getting ready to go back to the hospital. After getting ready, I called Mom to tell her what was going on, and Sarah joined me in the phone call.
"Is everything okay?" Mom asked, "Like is he going to be okay?"
"I think to so," I said.
"Yeah he's fine. Now we need to figure out what happened." Sarah said. I can't believe she didn't put two and two together.
"Yeah," mom said softly. She knew.
"Hey, mom, I hate to run off, but I've got things to do. Let me let you go." I said.
"Alright. Do you know when y'all will be back?" She asked.
"Not yet. As soon as I know I tell y'all." I told we her.
"Okay. Love you, bye."
"Love you too. Bye."
I hung up the phone and looked at Sarah.
"What do you need to do?" She asked me.
"I need to talk to you for a second." I said. She looked at me.
"Okay." She said. "What's wrong?"
"Sarah, Mike, um, he, uh, tried to kill himself." I told her.
"Huh?" She asked.
"His arms were bloody because he was cutting too deep. He told me he wanted to die. He tried to commit suicide." I said to her. Her eyes filled with tears.
"No." She said. "No. No. No. No. There's no way."
"Baby," I said brushed her arm.
"No. He didn't try to kill himself. No."
"Sarah." I warned.
"No Aiden! He's not suicidal!" Sarah cried, tears falling down her face. I knew this was killing her but I couldn't let her live in denial.
"Sarah, he is."
"No!" She screamed and hurried upstairs. I sighed and put my head in my hands.
I didn't know what to do. I've never seen her act like this. I heard her stomp down the stairs with something in her hands. I looked closer to see a pistol.
"Sarah what are you doing with that?!" I exclaimed.
"I'M GONNA KILL HER!"
"Put the gun down, Sarah. Give it to me." I spoke calmly.
"NO I'M GONNA KILL HER!!"
I knew she wouldn't just give me the gun, so I let her walk. The gun wasn't cocked back, so I went up. behind her and took it.
"Aiden!!" She whined.
"Sarah you cannot do that, as much as you want to." I said.
"I hate her. I hate her. I hate her. I hope she rots in hell!!!" Sarah cried. I sighed and hugged her.
"I know baby, I know." I said softly. She sniffled.
"We need to go to the hospital," she said.
"Okay, let's go." I said.
I drove her to the hospital, and held her hand as we walked to Mike's room. Before knocking on the door I pulled her into a hug.
