The next day I was in the studio with Hunter. Sammy was playing with Cole just fine in the other room.

This morning Aiden pitched a fit because of his mom. I haven't ever seen him so angry, but I guess she can push buttons that way. I kept checking my phone to see if he would text or call me but nothing.

"Everything ok?" Hunter asked me.

"Yep," I sighed.

"Alright." He said.

We sat quietly and wrote down ideas. I continued to check my phone. Finally, I got a text from Aiden.

To: Sarah
She just keeps on and keeps on... If you don't tell her to stop I will...and I won't be nice.

To: Aiden
Baby I know... Please just put the phone away a let yourself cool down. I'll be home soon I promise.

To: Sarah
She's just pissing me off.. I hate the way she judges everything I do...like it's any worse than what she's doing with her life.

To: Aiden
I know.. On the way home I will stop by and talk to her. Is that what you want me to do?

To: Sarah
No just come home.. I need you.

To:Aiden
Ok baby...be home in a couple hours.

To: Sarah
Ok

"Are you sure everything okay?" Hunter chuckled when I finally put my phone down.

"Yeah, Aiden is just fighting with his mom." I said.

"About?" He asked.

"Honestly, I'm not sure. I just heard him blow up on her on the phone, but it was on speaker and she was like nagging him about something." I said.

"I know how that is," Hunter chuckled. "My mom did the same thing when I started getting serious into my music. Especially when I started traveling. She told me I'd never make a good life out of this. But I have and it's great."

"I don't know if it's about Aiden's music. When we were in high school band she was always there to listen and support him when she could. And she always pushed him to do honor bands and stuff with me." I said.

"With you?" Hunter asked. "Y'all went to high school together?"

"Yeah," I smiled. "We're high school sweethearts I guess. It's a long story though."

"We've got time." He chuckled.

"Okay, well basically, I met Aiden when I joined band my freshman year. He was a junior. We were really good friends, and we spent a lot of time together outside of band. He became one of my best friends. After about a year though, we started liking each other. And one day while we went to go watch a movie one day he kissed me. That's when I spilled the truth about my life. That I was in a crappy foster home and I didn't know who my real parents were. I told him I was stuck until I was 18, and I was only 15 at the time. He told me that he'd take care of me, and do everything he can to make me happy. As a 15 year old girl, hearing that from a 18 year old was crazy. And I know it sounds really bad, with the age difference but he always respected me. He never pressured me to have sex or do anything like that. When we started dating, I started spending a lot of time at their house. My foster parents knew I was with him but they didn't care. His mom knew, and Aiden made sure to tell her about my foster home. That's when Rachel took me under her wing, and treated me like her own daughter. But when I was 21 I left to Los Angeles. I wanted to pursue my career in music, which it took off very quickly. I was gone for two years, without hardly speaking a word to Aiden or his mom or dad. But one day I started missing him, and I texted him. He responded and told me he misses me. I decided to visit, and I fell in love with Aiden all over again. That made me go back to LA with Aiden and tell the band I was quitting. They refused to let me leave, so we relocated here." I said.

"That's the most amazing story I've ever heard." Hunter said. "So Aiden doesn't have any siblings?"

"No," I said. "He's an only child."

"Well, if she took you under her wing, why didn't they adopt you?" Hunter asked.

"Because if she did, or even if she fostered me, Aiden and I couldn't be together. And that was the whole point of everything." I said

"I see," Hunter said. "Well do you need to head out?"

"Yeah," I said. "Before Aiden breaks something in the house."

"Alright. Meet up again tomorrow?" He asked.

"Sure!" I smiled, and gave him a friendly hug goodbye. I got Sammy and left.

I opened the back door and Sammy ran inside.

"Go find Daddy, Sammy!" I said. He ran upstairs, and stood at the shut bedroom door. He barked a couple times then scratched at the door. I walked over to the door and opened it. Aiden was laying on the bed watching tv.

"Baby?" I asked softly.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Wanna talk?" I asked.

"No." He said.

"Okay," I said. I turned around to walk out.

"Wait."

"Yeah?" I asked, turning back around.

"Come here." He said softly. I got in the bed and laid next to him. He pulled me closer.

"What's going on baby?" I asked softly, rubbing his cheek.

"I have a sister."
