"Welcome to your new home!" Mrs. Lindley exclaims opening the door to her and her husband's house. The door opens to reveal a nice, yet small, living room with white carpet and light grey walls. Then is a darker grey couch in the middle the faces a TV, one of the walls opens up to the kitchen. "I know it's not much," Mrs. Lindley starts, "No it's good, it's lovely," I insist. Compared to were I've been for the past four years anything really I'll consider wonderful.

"Your room is just down the hall," Mrs. Lindley leads me down a small hallway which connects the bedrooms with the rest of the house. "The first door on the left is your bathroom, and the first door on the right is your room. Then that door down at the end of the hallway is my bedroom if you need anything at any time, just come get me." She opens the door to my room.

The walls were a light grey and the carpet was white like the living room. There was also a single bed on against the wall. On the farthest wall there was a big window that had a cushioned bench. It's perfect I think. "I'm going to go ahead and get dinner started, do you have any requests?" Mrs. Lindley asks me. "I'll eat just anything, whatever you want is fine," I insist.

"Rose, don't be afraid to ask for anything," Mrs. Lindley says. "I'm not I just don't care about what I eat too much, as long as its food, I'll be happy," Mrs. Lindley sighs in response. "I'll order pizza," she leaves the room but leaves the door open. I've never had pizza before so this should be interesting. I calmly walk over to the open door and calmly close it.

I walk back over to the bed and sigh. The nurses gave me a small bag that I put the journal in and put a two pairs of cloths that they gave me. Mrs. Lindley told me that we would go shopping for more cloths for me tomorrow. I don't really know what to think about that. I mean my muscles are still pretty weak, especially my legs.

I stare at the wall as I get lost in thought. I'm starting school in about a week so that will be fun, not really. I also don't know how I feel about that either because. Especially the fact that I have to see all of my old friends again. I mean its one thing to have them visit me in the hospital, but it's another, entirely different thing to go to school with them again.

Then there's all of the teachers who will pity me and baby me, because I'm quote unquote "To confused to understand," Yes I'm confused but I'm not stupid. I remember when I took the test for the doctors to see what grade u would be placed in. I actually scored as high as an advanced senior, but they thought it was a fluke so they put my into the sophomore class.

"-os, Rose? You in there?" I hear Mrs. Lindley knocking on the door. I shake my head and clear my thoughts with a sigh. I get up and walk over to the door and open it. "Oh, well the pizza is here," I open the door wider and nod. She leads me to the kitchen and opens up a box. "I didn't know what kind you would like so, I got half pineapple, which was my favorite, and then I got the other just plain cheese but you can try both," she explains.

I nod and pick up one of each. I take a bite. I swear fireworks just went off in my mouth, I haven't had something this good since I lived in the Sanctuary. And that was a long time ago. "What do you think?" Mrs. Lindley asks. "It's extremely good," I say quietly. "Good now, as I told you on the way home, I'm pretty sure we'll be going to the mall tomorrow," Mrs. Lindley looks at me and I nod.

"Is there anything specific that you would prefer?" She asks. "As long as it's dark colors and long sleeved, I don't really care," I reply monotone. "So that's a no on the pink, then?" Mrs. Lindley taunts. "Most defiantly," I smirk slightly. Finishing off my pizza. I stand up. "Would you like to go ahead and shower so you can sleep?" Mrs. Lindley asks. "I'm fine witho-," "Rose," Mrs. Lindley interrupts me, "The doctors told me about it and I'm sure that you will be fine for just one night."
