Rose

"He couldn't have gone that far right?" Jack asks. "Honestly, I have no clue," I respond. "How does he even know where he's going?" Jack asks. "Well, simple, he could just follow the trail of blood that came from Jason," Kori replies. "We're nearly there," Kori announces.

Jack nearly gags at the smell of blood that's hanging in the air. From inside we hear a loud crash. Kori turns into a ghost and slips through the wall. Jack sneaks around to the entrance, as I follow Kori through the shadows. Still hanging back in the shadows I see Jacob standing over Martin with a sword pointed at his throat. "What did you do to my brother?!" he exclaims. "I don't know what you're talking about," Martin says laughing hysterically. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Jacob shrieks pushing the sword against his throat, drawing a thin trickle of blood.

I decide it's time to intervene, coming out of the shadows I grab Jacob arm and gently pull him away. "Jacob killing him isn't going to change anything," I whisper to him. "He did something to Jason, I need to find out what!" Jack comes over and helps me restrain Jacob.

"Jason will be okay, the wounds just need to close," Jack begins trying to reason with Jacob. "No, you don't understand Rose, he's not there," Jacob begins crying again. "Jacob, what are you talking about, he's back with the mouse people. He's safe and we need to get out so we will be safe." I try to get him to move.

"NO!" Jacob exclaims, "I can't sense him, I can't talk to him anymore." Martin begins laughing. "Interesting aren't they? Twins," he giggles, "Best of friends, until there not," "I would suggest you stop talking," Kori comes out of ghost form. Martin backs up slightly. "Go," Kori says, "I will handle this," "But-," Jack begins to protest. "Frost, stand down, Kori needs to do this," I say pushing Jacob towards the entrance and exit.

Jacob suddenly freezes. "Jacob, come on," Jack says. Jacob's eyes begin glowing a bright autumnish color, like when the leaves change. He slowly rises up off the ground.

Jacob

Jack and Rose begin pulling me away from my brother's torturer. I begin to comply until I sense something. 'Jacob,' my heart begins racing, 'Jason?!' 'Get out of the mountain. Now.' I feel Jason begin fading away again. 'Jason, wait!' But he's already gone.

Then a wave of calmness washes over me. I feel myself slowly rise off the ground. My body feels like its underwater and something, older and wiser is guiding me. I grab Jack and Rose. Looking down the long hallway I lock onto the place I last sensed Jason and made a pathway. Then I shoot through the cavern. I see a light in the distance. Speeding up, the light soon washes over us. I see a large group of the mouse people. I set Rose and Jack down. And the calm aura guiding me disappears.

Looking at the group of that was already outside, I see that the rest of our original group is out here as well. I run over to Jason's body, which is leaned up against a big boulder and Jake is beside him. My concern returning, I speed up my pace.

I collapse next to him. "Jacob," Jake says laying a hand on my shoulder, "He's alright." "How would you know?!" I turn around lashing out. "How would you know if he's alright or not? I know he will be fine, he's always been fine. But that doesn't change the fact that he's hurt now!" tears leak out of my eyes again.

They don't understand. That Martin guy did something to Jason. I can't sense him anymore and I'm scared. No matter what happen we had each other. But now I'm alone. "I-I don't want to b-be alone," I whimper, curling up beside Jason.

Jack

I stand up and offer a hand to Rose. She grabs it and I pull her up. We both lock eyes. As I stare into her sparkling blue eyes, I can tell she's exhausted. Once Rose realizes I'm staring she looks down and her bangs fall in front of her eyes. I work up the courage to talk to her. "Rose-," I start.
