Bree's P.O.V

"You guys look happy for some girls who just tore up my party and left!"

We all turned in the direction that the voice came from but we froze at the sound of a big splash as water pelted us. Our heads snapped to the left to find a drenched Amber who had fallen off the pier.

"Oh my gosh Amber! Are you alright?" I asked getting to my knees to attempted to fish her out of the water.

"Damn Amber!" Josh chuckled. "You take falling head over heals to a whole new level!"

Amber scowled up at him and we all burst out laughing. He reached his hand down to pull her up and she tugged on his hand in an attempted to pull him. He didn't budge though instead he just laughed and shook his head.

"Come now babe! Be nice or I'll let you swim a little longer," he teased.

That's when I got a devious idea. I turned my head to Jessica and Emma and smirked. Fortunately they knew what I was thinking without me having to say anything. I mouthed 'on the count of three' and proceed to spot them with my fingers. When I brought up the third finger we all gave him a huge push and he fell in almost drowning poor Amber in the process. The three of us doubled over in laughter as the two of them emerged.

"That wasn't funny, " Amber shouted but laughed.

" Oh it's on you little rascals!" Josh boomed splashing us with water.

We ran away giggling hysterically as the two swam to shore and began to chase us back to the house. Josh was catching up to us as his long legs pulled him closer; man was he fast. We weren't even looking where we were going as we kept looking back to see how far he reached. That's when I collided with something hard. I expected to fall but whatever it was steadied me. I looked up still giggling and gasping for air when I came face to face with Ian. His face was hard like rock which evidently meant that he was still pissed. My once jovial mood was now replaced with chagrin as the smile slid from my face.

"Let's talk!" he ordered dragging me towards the house.

Something in me wanted to smack him but I had to admit that now the adrenaline was gone and the running had cleared my senses somehow I felt that it would do me better to be obedient. He marched throw Josh's house like he owned it and mounted the stairs briskly. If i had been in heels I would probably have broken my ankle by now with the speed at which he was dragging me around. He more or less flung me inside of an empty bedroom and locked the door behind us.

"Sit!" he ordered pointing to the bed.

I glanced at it and back to him obstinately. I crossed my hands over my chest and glared back at him. His eyes were magical. I know that sounds corny but that's the best way I could describe them. They were ablaze like an unquenchable fire trapped in the mist of two blue orbs. The look on his face was oddly terrifying and badass or not if I had met him in a dark alley I would've ran home screaming for my mommy. However I was going to hold my ground if it killed me. Well figuratively ofcourse.

"No," I refused.

"Sit!" he said in a slightly lower voice than before and let me tell you I don't know how it was possible for him to sound more menacing than he looked right now but he did.

"Why?" I demanded with a calmness that I didn't feel since my heart was running a one hundred metre dash on repeat.

Stop making him more angry! It's the both of us your killing you know!

Shut up! There's no two of us! We're the same person lame brain!

"Because I want to talk to you, " he stated.
