<HARRY'S POV>

When Maddy answered the door, she was so surprised to see me that it almost made me laugh because she looked so cute. Well, she always looks cute. When I got the call last night about work being cancelled today, it made me upset because I wouldn't be able to see Maddy. I wasn't going to spend a day memorizing lines, even if I got to do it with my best mates. I just couldn't do it now that Maddy is in my life. This morning, I really wanted to spend time with her so I decided to surprise her. I was a little worried that she might've already made plans with Lara, but I was worried for nothing. It turns out that she didn't even know that it was cancelled until earlier this morning. She went back inside to get her purse and to tell her dad she was going some where with me and stepped outside. When she saw my car, she gasped. She was really fascinated by my black Range Rover and she kept asking questions about it. I didn't really mind because I could listen to her talk all day.

"So what're we going to do today?" Maddy asks while I change the radio station.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we can go to my place and chill for a bit?"

"You have your own house?" she asks me, surprised.

"Kind of," I laugh. "Me and the lads own a beach house together."

<MADDY'S POV>

"Kind of," Harry laughs. His laugh makes me flutter. "Me and the lads own a beach house together." Wow, I wonder what it feels like to be as rich as them. Wait a minute, did he say that we're going to his house to hang out? Did he ever say that we were going to be alone or what? I really need to pay attention more, but I can't help it. His deep cheshire accent is overwhelming.

"Are you okay?" Harry asks when I don't say anything.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lie.

"Tell me." I sigh. If I lie again, he wouldn't buy it. There's a pause.

"Who else is going to be there?" I ask at a red light. I know he can sense my nervousness. Truth is, I've never really been alone with a boy. Harry isn't any other guy, though, but still. What if I say the wrong thing at the wrong time? What if we 'accidentally' kiss?

"Don't be nervous," Harry chuckles. "The lads will be there, too." The traffic light turns from red to green and Harry smoothly drives off.

"Oh," I mumble. "They probably hate me. I still feel really bad about the things I said yesterday."

"They don't hate you," Harry assures me. "I've told them..."

"What? You've told them what?" I ask, catching him off guard. I glance at him and I see his cheeks turn red.

"Nothing," he quickly says. I'm about to protest even more when Little Things come on. We both look at each other and laugh. I sing along and Harry even comes in on his solos. If I think his accent is overwhelming, then him singing feels like a dream. I've heard him sing before, obviously, but not in person. It feels more real. The radio or the music from my phone can never capture the perfection of his voice. I can feel myself having goosebumps. Harry stops singing and I'm actually glad because my heart was pounding so hard.

"We're here," Harry says, turning off the radio. We turn to a corner and he takes his iPhone out. I see him opening an app. He clicks a few buttons and the big golden gates open. I look at him impressed and he just shrugs, moving the car forward. I look out my window and I see many different kinds of trees, flowers, and bushes. I even spot some ponds and fountains. I can hear him smirk, but I ignore it and continue to look at this beautifully designed landscape. We finally get to the driveway of the house and he parks the car, turning off the engine. Wow. Their house is humungous. I can almost taste the saltiness of the ocean. They must have a little private beach all to themselves because I don't see any houses around us. Harry steps out of the car and comes to my door, opening it.
