Walking into the house I can see my friends are all exhausted from being thrown around. I grab a bottle of Jameson from atop the fridge and sit at the end table, drinking. After a few hours I've finished the bottle and grab the other two, sitting back down and chugging half of one.

It's nine p.m. when I finish the other two bottles. stumbling up I move the chair aside and walk to the bedroom I share with Izmar, almost breaking the door handle as I walk in. She looks up from her book and raises an eyebrow at me.

"Luci?" She questions, confused.

Walking over I grin a bit and put my hand gently around her throat, kissing her.

"Luci- What's g-" She struggles to speak and I stop, shaking my head. Walking out of the room I run my hand through my hair, gripping my skull. I slam my hand into the side of our kitchen table, kicking it over and walk out the door.

When I get to the bar I sit on a stool and order a Guinness. I down the drink as the tender brings it to me and lean back. A man approaches me and rests his elbows on the bar, "Hey, so you downed that pretty fast." He says trying to hold in his laughter.

"You're point?" I inquire, turning to face the man.

He shrugs "Just thought maybe you're used to being in old depressing bars." He says.

"I don't quite follow." I reply.

"You got mommy problems?" He mocks "You all sad and depressed." He continues.

"Listen, I'm going to give you one chance to leave me be." I say and turn back around. The man grabs me by the shoulder.

"No one ignores me buddy." He throws a drunken punch at me, I move and knee him in the stomach. The man stumbles back and I knock him over with a hard punch to the face, then kneel over him and beat in his skull. When I'm done the man's face is barely recognizable. Getting up off the man's corpse I see the bartender has already called the police and I disappear, reappearing in the house.

Laney walks in and sees the blood on my knuckles and shirt, gasping. "What did you do..." She asks scared.

"I killed a man, he was bothering me." I say emotionlessly. She walks up and grips my hand as I turn on the sink.

"You're getting worse..." She says sadly, looking at the mark.

"I'm fine." I reply and start washing my hands. Having them pulled out of the sink as Laney turns me back around I look down at her.

"You're far from fine. You can't resist the Mark Of Cain forever." She whispers hesitantly. I tear my arm out of her grasp and slam my palm into her chest. She stumbles back into the wall and I teleport over to her, slamming my fist into the wall behind her, cracking it.

"I. Am. Fine." I say then drop my fist and walk off, going into the garage.

                                                                                          (Laney's Perspective)

I walk into Izmar's room and take her book, setting it down on the counter. "We need to talk, now." I say sitting down next to her on the bed.

"Sup?" She asks concerned.

"Lucifer is getting worse. He killed a person because he was bothered. Then when I tried to talk to him he slammed me into a wall then punched it. We need to get that mark off him, that or we ne-

Izmar cuts me off "No, don't say what I think you're going to." She says crossing her arms.

"I don't like it either but if you won't help, then I'll have to do it. It's what he'd want, you think Lucifer wants to be like this?" I reply frantically.

"No...Okay, I'll help you, but only if it's the last resort..." She replies, saddened by our options.

"I'll look into other ways but...We might have to kill him..." I look down and frown.

"Who's gonna tell Nathan?" Izmar asks.
