Peaceful Summer

#Alright. since the weather is being extremely hot, part of my brain is damaged, so, I want Jing and Lu Cang to sing for me. XD

Peaceful Summer

The warm afternoon breeze which blowing gently was carrying along the scent of summer flowers. The water surface was dazzlingly sparkling and glittering to reflect the golden sunlight. The sound of the bamboo leaves filled one ears with such peaceful whisper.

Closing his eyes to enjoy the peaceful afternoon surrounded by the bamboo trees, Lu Cang laid down with his hand as his pillow. The summer heat was not as severe for he was shaded by the trees.

It had been long long time ago when the last time Lu Cang listened to the music of the nature. Since he moved to this Capital, everyday was a busy day. All he could hear was the buzzing and bubbling voices of busy human. If it happened to be silent, then the silence was of a dreadful one. It was hard to find such a peace of mind admits the crowd of people who vied to outwit one another.

"What are you doing here?"

A pleasant to the ears voice filled his hearing senses. Without opening his eyes, Lu Cang knew who was the owner of such melodious voice.

"Nothing."

Lu Cang could feel that that person sat by his side too.

"Hmm?? Why is His Majesty the Great Emperor sitting on the grass??" Still not opening his eyes, Lu Cang teasingly asked Jing.

"Because the Empress also doing the same thing."

"Tsk!! Who is your Empress!?" Lu Cang sat up abruptly for the irritating remark. Jing only gave him a soft kiss on his cheek as greeting.

Sitting side by side on the grass, gazing at the glittering lake, enjoying the gentle summer breeze, silently listening to the sound of the leaves.... Unexpectedly, there was this nice and warm feeling burst forth from Jing's heart.

He had never thought, simply sitting side by side with Lu Cang already could make him feel such gentleness, such peacefulness. When he looked up to the wide and limitless clear blue sky, he had to narrow his eyes and use his hand to shade his eyes for the sky was too bright to the point of blinding.

"Jing, can you sing?"

Out of the blue, Lu Cang asked a weird question.

"Huh?" After seeing the dazzling sky, Jing couldn't see normally for a while.

"Sing. Can you?"

"Of course I can, but why?"

Lu Cang turned his eyes to Jing. "Since you have such a sweet voice, I wonder how will it sound like when you sing. I want to hear it."

Lu Cang's eyes were also sparkling from the light. His smiling face was truly adorable.

"What do I get in return?"

Jing gazed straight to that pair of glittering eyes. A smile formed on his perfect lips.

"I have a bad feeling for this... Forget it! Never mind. I will just imagine it in my mind."

Jing chuckled lightly. "Alright. Just give me a kiss, a sweet and loving kiss with all of your love. How about that?"

Lu Cang threw him a side way glance. "Yeah, right... As if you will satisfy with just a kiss."

Jing couldn't help but laugh. The laughter was irritating, but Lu Cang couldn't restrain himself from thinking that Jing truly had a pleasant voice.
