Honeymoon Trip – part two
Early morning, the air was cold to the bone. The dew had yet to disperse from the tip of the leaves and grasses. The sun had just woken up from its long slumber, its light still lazily bursting ray by ray on the gradually getting brighter sky. The freezing night breeze gave way to the excited morning wind, spell by spell waking up the sleeping world.
Two tall and elegant figures were standing by the side of a pond. A slight steam from the surface of the pond indicating that the water was not as cold as usual pond.
"Is this the hot spring you told me before?" Lu Cang frowned and subtly shifted his eyes to look all around the pond. The pond was indeed beautiful, however......"You sure this is the one?"
Jing cast him a sideway glance in annoyance. The frown between his perfect brows were much deeper than Lu Cang's. Lu Cang knew better than to upset him when he was in this kind of mood. In the end, Lu Cang chose to wisely purse his lips.
Jing was sure as the sun rises in the east that this was the correct place. Around the area, this was the only one place with a secluded hot spring pond --- secluded since it was not easy to come to this place, it was hidden by the thick forrest and the steep landscape.
Narrowing his eyes dangerously, Jing literally emitting his ominous aura. Lu Cang couldn't help but shudder from Jing's sudden change of mood. He was just happily pointing at the pond just a few moment ago. But as soon as they arrived at the pond's side, Jing gradually lost his smile.
"Errr.... Maybe...." Initially, he attemped to ease Jing's anger, but seeing Jing's straight and stern face, again, it would be prudent of him to shut his mouth.
Of course Jing would be furious. He had sent words since long ago to the officials in this Region, to attend to this place so he could enjoy his honeymoon in this place. But the wilderness around the pond, --- the grass was too tall, the shore of the pond was not as neat as how Jing wanted it to, not to mention, Jing had ordered to build a little pavillion for him and Lu Cang, but the pavilion was no where to be seen. Obviously, they had taken his order lightly. And they had to pay it with their head rolling on the ground.
"Who is that?!" Just before Jing told Lu Cang to return, a loud voice was transmitted, followed by a leaping shadow and landed soundlessly before the couple.
"Who are you? How did you enter this area?" A clear confusion was flashing on the just arrived third party. After a moment of astonishment to see two unfamiliar elegant figures within his teritory, very quick he straightened his back and fixed his eyes on the two intruders.
Jing was already irritated from the beginning, how would Jing, in this kind of state, be willing to answer him. Instead, Jing coldly looked at the man with his ready to kill mood.
Judging from his manner, he was not a mere mountain bandit, he looked more like a guard than a bandit. And a very elite guard at that. From his movement, Lu Cang could roughly guess that this man was a very high-skilled martial artist. But of course, he was no match for his matchless Emperor.
Sighing as he slightly moved aside, Lu Cang just could only wish all the best for this impudent man who appeared at the worst possible moment.
Apparently the man also could feel the dangerous vibe from Jing since he instinctively took a few steps back from his original spot. His eyes were showing a slight dread but very quick he covered it with his initial prideful eyes.
