Asia was tired. She had spent most of last night giving away her blood. Janelle had insisted that she didn't have to give it if it weakened her, they could just make more copies, she'd said. But Asia didn't know if that would work so she'd offered it anyways, better safe than sorry.

She'd woken up at around 7 when she heard voices outside the tent. She kept her purple camisole on, slipped some jeans and a jacket on and left after slipping her feet into some boots. Asia found Ford and decided to ask him what was going on.

"Morning sunshine," he joked.

"Very funny, what's the commotion about?"

"We're splitting off into groups of six to scout the forest for any sign of the zombie headquarters. Everyone is going save for the children and old people. Janelle & Silas are also staying back. But since you lost a lot of blood last night, I'm sure you don't have to go."

"No, I want to go," Asia said.

"Okay, but don't blame me if you pass out."

She was about to make another remark but then Wade arrived along with Darcy, Sonnet, & Will.

"Ford do you want to join our team?" Wade asked.

Asia said and crossed her arms, "I'm going too."

"Are you sure you're well enough?" Will asked. She didn't look at him.

"Yes, I'm great," Asia lied. She wouldn't be left behind.

"Okay, let's go then," Wade said.

Luckily, Asia had also tucked a small dagger in her boot before leaving her tent. Everyone was armed and they left.

"Where are we going?" Sonnet asked. They had been walking for about ten minutes. Wade had led the way and no one had said anything. It was a little awkward to be honest.

Asia stayed beside Darcy, she was avoiding to meet Will's eyes. She found him looking at her often, and realized that she had been looking at him when she thought he wasn't looking at her.

"We're going to scout the area near the Forsaken Rocks," Wade answered.

"Sweet," Darcy said with a mischievous grin

"Wait, Janelle actually allowed us to go near there," Asia said, incredulously.

"No, but she didn't send anyone else there even though it's the most likeliest place," Wade answered.

"You rebel," Darcy smiled. Wade smiled back at her.

They continued walking for a bit longer until finally arriving at the rocks. Asia recognized the place where she, Darcy, & Sonnet had been attacked before.

"Should we split up?" Will suggested.

"It would be the logical thing to do, but stay close. Don't go too far out," Wade replied, "Darcy you're with me, Sonnet with Ford, and Will and Asia."

Asia saw Sonnet blush and she thought she'd even seen Darcy blush. She felt that Wade had done this on purpose, Mr. Matchmaker indeed. As they split up she looked back and saw Darcy and Wade holding hands.

But Asia felt a little uncomfortable to be paired with Will. She wondered if he had realized that someone had snuck into his cave and broken the vial.

He probably inferred that it was her since she was the only one other than himself who knew where the cave was. They continued to walk in silence, which only made her worry more.

"So, what are we looking-" Asia began but was then quickly cut off by Will as he grabbed her arm and turned her so she faced him. "Will, what-"

"Asia, why are you avoiding me?" He asked her, his eyes scrutinizing.

"I ..." Asia didn't know what to say. She decided to tell the truth.

"Will, why do you have a vial of zomtoxin in your room?"

Will froze, he looked speechless. But he soon found his voice again, "How do you know that?"

"Will, please answer me," Asia said desperately. Her heart was threatening to pound out of her chest.

"It was you wasn't it?" he asked, he was laughing but it was the sort of laugh that people did when someone told them something bad and they couldn't believe it. It sent shivers through her.

"Will, I'm sorry," she said, "I didn't mean to-" but she paused.

"Asia, it's none of your business, you know what, lets just stop talking about this," and he turned to leave.

Asia refused to go, she needed an answer. She tried to lunge at him from behind but he grabbed her wrist , "Quit it Asia," he gritted through his teeth. Asia tried to hit him with her other am but then he pushed her back again against a giant boulder. She was throbbing with pain, she was already weak from last nights blood loss.

"Will stop," she said. She looked at his eyes, they were red. There was no mistaking it. He made a low growl sound in his throat. He was inches away from tearing out her throat.

"Will, please," Asia pleaded again. It worked and Will abruptly pulled himself off, he looked scared and his face grave.

"I'm, I'm sorry Asia," he said and began to leave her again.

But Asia pulled him back despite the throbbing. "Will, you can't just leave like this every time you go zombie on me. Tell me what's wrong, I want to help you. I love you," Asia said. She felt him freeze.

"Asia, I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore," he said and left her. He was too fast for her and he disappeared into the woods.

Asia was shocked. Why did he have to keep doing this to her? She tried to run after him but then she was pushed down to the ground. She sliced with her dagger but ended up cutting herself, and dropping the dagger on the ground. Darkness took over and the last thing she saw before going unconscious were blood red eyes. "Lady Lucien will be glad we've caught you."
