Will woke up with Asia in his arms. She was still asleep, her face was so relaxed. The sky outside the cave was still bright. But they had arrived at the camp around five in the morning or so. Will hadn't gotten any sleep for a very long time. Asia murmured something unintelligible and shifted on the mattress.
Will was still thinking about what had happened at the Zombie headquarters. So much had happened, he'd almost lost Asia, Sonnet had in a way betrayed them, and Will had witnessed Fort Resilient win a battle against zombies.
He slowly began to sit up, trying not to wake up Asia, but then he saw a pair of sleepy brown and purple eyes staring up at him. The purple was because of the Vitallien in her blood, and it seemed to make her even more pretty. No, Asia wasn't pretty, she was beauty incarnate. He didn't deserve her, but he was too selfish to let her go.
"What is it?" She asked him.
"What do we do now?" he asked her.
She yawned. He looked at her, what would they do? The problem had gotten too far out of hand, there was too much of a chance that they could actually destroy the zombies, too much risks.
"I don't know Will. But whatever happens next, we'll be there for each other right?"
"Of course. 'I never wish to be parted from you from this day on,'" he said, quoting Mr. Darcy. It was a reference to that day she'd bumped into him that one night while looking for Tent B.
"I still can't believe you like to read," Asia remarked.
"I love reading, I don't really know why, but I do."
"It's the stories for me. It's like watching a movie but inside your head. You know that quote, A book is a dream you hold in your hands."
"Yeah, what about it?"
"I feel like we're living a dream right now, except that instead of a fairy tale, it's a horror story."
He thought about her words. Their life was a sort of nightmare, but a dream nonetheless.
She smiled her lovely smile and sat up beside him. "We're so unlucky aren't we," she continued with a low laugh, "Out of all the time in the world, we were born into the Era of Zombies. Perhaps we were very bad in our previous life and reincarnated like this."
"I don't think we're unlucky. I have you don't I?" He replied.
She slid her hand into his. The touch was warm, "I love you."
Asia was so amazing in every way possible. She truly deserved better than this, she deserved to get to live a normal life. Maybe Will did too, but they were stuck in this time period, and they would have to make the best of it.
"I do too." He smiled at her. It was moments like this where Will wanted so badly to run away with Asia and be happy somewhere free of zombies.
She got up and dusted off her clothes, "I'm going to go take a bath now. I feel encased in dirt right now."
"Yes, please, you smell like crap right now," he teased, "my nose was dying having to smell you." She did smell horrible but he bet he smelled even worse.
"Ha ha very funny, you snore by the way," she retorted, "and you talk in your sleep."
"What do I say?"
She shook her head, "Stupid things, impossible things."
"'We're all mad here.'" Another quote, but from a very ancient classic, Alice in Wonderland.
She bent down to kiss him on the cheek and then left to go take a bath.

Asia was about to stop by Sonnet's tent but then remembered that Sonnet was, well. So she went over to Darcy's tent first. As Asia walked through the camp she noticed that people were dressed up. Men in linen and polo shirts, woman is sundresses and blouses of every shade. People were chattering and laughing. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, but there were those who wore black dresses and looked to be in mourning. Asia suspected that they'd lost a loved one in the zombie attack.
