Part 16: The Truth About The Last Era

Asia Slade's brother, Trevor, was killed in a rebellion against the king of the Earth, Zain Delancey. Zain had Trevor and the other rebels executed but allowed Malcolm, Asia & Trevor's father, to live because he had no idea about his son being a rebel and he was also one of the king's chief scientists. King Zain pardoned Malcolm since he had not been part of the crime and did not try to get revenge, or so the king thought. But Malcolm felt a need for what he called justice but was vengeance in a cruel form.

Then Malcolm's pregnant wife, Arissa Slade, had a daughter and they named her Asia Lucien Slade. Malcolm adored the child and was proud of it but he did not love it. She was born with the same lovely curling black hair as her mother, blue eyes, and warm skin.

Malcolm was almost about to give up until one day he was reminded of zombies, an old scary legend that had been made a very long time ago, back in the 1000's. Malcolm was inspired and created zomtoxin. The plan was to inject the prince and turn him into a zombie, a son for a son. But this was crueler because the prince was only a baby and the prince wouldn't even be killed, he would grow up to be a monstrosity. So he presented his discovery to the royal king and queen. They rejoiced at the thought of an injection that could make someone immortal.

Then, Arissa discovered the truth. She had become suspicious of her husband since he spent most of his time in the basement, so Arissa went down there one day, found a journal, and realized what was happening. But although Malcolm planned to only inject the prince at first, he had changed his plans and now wanted to inject everyone. He wanted everyone to feel his pain. He was no longer the loving man that Arissa had fallen in love with, she felt betrayed.

So Arissa, who was also a scientist on the king's team, formed an antidote with Vitallien, that would stop the effects of the zomtoxin. She wouldn't be able to get it to everyone in time so she injected Asia first and set out to tell the king, her heart  broke at the thought of having to turn in her husband. But then she was found, right before she could. She was found by her sister, Lucien.

Lucien came out of nowhere and attacked Arissa. Lucien's eyes weren't full red yet so she was still in the process of turning, and turning wasn't inevitable if only Arissa could will herself to pull the trigger on her older sister. Arissa stumbled at the blow and dropped the few vials of the antidote she could hold.

She couldn't bring herself to kill Lucien so instead knocked her out and ran faster to the prince's chamber. And when she arrived, she saw, to her horror, Malcolm standing over the baby. He had just injected the prince. Arissa, tear stained now with grief and anger, lunged on her husband and he fell.

Arissa quickly went over to the prince picked up the empty syringe and did her best to try and suck out the zomtoxin. She was able to get most of it out and then she put him in her arms and ran like hell with him. He wasn't crying, such a good boy. She decided to bring him to Alice, a close friend of Arissa. Arissa told Alice to get the prince out of the castle and protect him. Alice agreed and immediately teleported off.

Arissa went to find her daughter next and when she found her, she teleported with little Asia to an orphanage, left a name tag. The logical thing to do next, obviously, would to stay with her daughter and continue her life. But, Arissa Slade was too sentimental and returned. She intended to kill her husband and the zomtoxin along with it.

But it was too late, for Malcolm had awoken and he was waiting for Arissa. Wasn't much of a battle though. Arissa fought well, but Malcolm had injected himself and he tore her throat out. Then he went and lied to the king that the prince was okay and that the injection can be distributed now.

You know what happened next. The king distributed the injection. He realized that the prince was gone and Malcolm swooped in with a death blow. He used some new holographic and informed the Earth that the prince had gone crazy and then a fourth of Earth did too. That is the truth about the Last Era, that is the story of Asia Slade.
