Coming Home

I was crying in Tybult's jeep. I didn't wanna leave and seeing the men I worked with waving goodbye didn't help much. I didn't want to go. There was so much more I could learn about the Muay Thai kickboxing and Jujitsu I had been taught in my time there. But I got what I needed. I was so much more built than when I started and with my skills I knew I could fight and win against anyone. I was sure of it!

After the two day drive was over I had returned home. I was greeted by my baby sister crushing my ribs with a massive hug and also by the look of suprise on my mom's face.

"Drake! You've gotten huge! What did Tybult feed you?"

Then she started laughing. She had tears of happiness streaming down her face when she hugged me and kissed me on the cheek and told me how much she had missed me. We got my bags out of the jeep. I saw my dad talking to Tybult after unloading my bags. They shook hands, hugged and I watched the coolest man I knew leave to return to his farm.

When I went inside and opened the door to my bed room what I saw almost made me hit the floor and made me scream in excitement! It was a red heavy bag hung up by my closet, a pair of black training mits and a pair of blue weighted gloves on my bed waiting for me.

I sprinted over to my dad and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I yell excitedly.

"Well," he said. "I figured we'd make up for Christmas. Oh yeah and by the way don't thank me. Thank your mom, It was her idea after all."

So I ran to my mother and hugged her too. That's really all I remember of that day. I ate dinner and went to sleep.

The next day would be very interesting...
